I heard that the crit rate for all characters caps at 500. Assuming that's true...is the Focus SA for the Draconic Bow really worth it? I'd imagine you'd probably already hit the 500 cap by S-grade, particularly if you're fully buffed (but maybe even with just self-buffs). Or are S-grade archers still far from reaching the 500 cap?
Doesn't matter what you are... EE/Bishop/BD/whatever class you can think of that doesn't have any archery skills at all. Can easily kill anything as fast if not faster then with thier own masteries.
You get a lineup of toons all with drag bows with focus, vs anything and they always win. Not even nukers can get lucky against those suckers.
Give a drag bow with focus to a true archer, and your dead, period. One shotting just about anything you like. 2 shotting tanks for christ sake.

The deal is tho, that you have to get cat queen, focus, SwS, DW, PoF, to max out crt, crt rate.
To max out dmg, you need might, greatter might(c5 skill), PoF, BD, zerk, focus, DW, o/e snipe with power (HE of course), boss jwellery(ant ring, baium ring).
crts are insane at 76+...I'd like to point out that bow masteries plays a big deal in dmg, as well as how big your bow is o/e'd to!

irregardless, there should be no way you can get a 4/5 crit rate and two shot anyone in sight no matter what items you have. I dont care if someone is a triple double dog hero with jesus fins you shouldnt be able to do that to a similarily level'd class (outside of a mage maybe)
It seems then the Drac Bow w/ Focus would favor the non-archer classes more than the archers themselves. Or maybe I'm just misinterpreting, and maybe you can exceed a 500 crit rate?
I heard that focus will be removed from Drac bow in C5 from a clan leader in our alliance. Even bow's that already have it, will lose it and the owner will find the SA crystal in inventory. Can anyone confirm this? lol I hope so, focus on a bow is just wrong :p

Indeed, although I love archers, putting SA focus on a bow is just sick...would be a wise decision to lose the SA focus on Draconic bow (well any bow period, even if there is no other bow that has that SA).
If you want to add a new one, add Haste or something...
lvl 73 DA with all the masteries and a nightmare set all enchanted.
with all the buffs, he got 2 shotted, his shield didn't end up doing the job at all for him, and the archer critted both times.
Mag crits are brutal true, one shotting people, but they aren't as freaking often as archer crits.
Hell i'm a BD lvl 64, i've got +6str +5dex and i crit like crazy (328 critical or 388 with full crit rate buffs with a carnage bow with no sa) And i'm doing on average the same damage as a lvl 74 SR with a Soul Bow.
Similare damage in terms of the average. (none crits) but my crits range widely.. but sometimes i can match maybe even on occasion surpass his crit dmg amount.. other times it's quite a bit lower.. but generally i can hit **** **** hard.
Frankly, i think they can keep thier focus.. and mages can keep thier bsps and acumen and crap...
i think Armor and Magic Resist masteries should definitely start counting for something.
if someone has 3000matk/patk, then dammit, we should have 3000mdef/pdef to counter it.. not 1000 pdef/750mdef against those..
Who the hell likes 1/4 second pvp battles? There is no strategy, it's more like who can get the first shot off first and who can get the first critical in.
