I managed to get a mithril dagger to +9 right, then I went to exchange it for a +9 Light cross bow from mammon. Looking at the stats it didnt seem right. With a base of 191, at +9 the LXB should be at 251p.atk right?

When enchanted the P. Atk. of all D grade weapons will increase by 2 with the exception of bows, which will increase by 4. The M. Atk. of all weapons increases by 2. From +4, P. Atk. and M. Atk. bonus will double for all weapon types.

But my LXB was no where near that. Was I supposed to start out with a lxb to begin with insted of overenchanting a mithril dagger instead???
Im not sure but I would contact support if the P.atk doesnt add up right on the Lxb maybe you have discovered a bug.
Base 191 patk + (9 enchants * 4 patk per enchant) = 227 patk.

[251 - 191 = 60] -> [60 / 4 = 15]

So for a 251 patk LXB you would need to make it +15.

Whenever you swap weapons at mammon with enchants, the base patk of the weapon is still the same as a naked weapon.

So a +9 on a bow would be +36 patk, but +9 on a 1 handed sword would be (9 * 2 =) +18 patk.

Does this match with the weapon that you have?

enchants doesent work that way.
the first enchants 1 to 3 adds 2 p.attack each on D-grade weapons. 4+ adds 4 each. so a +9 one handed weapon has um, base is92 right? :P lol..then it is 118 p.attack

Base 191 patk + (9 enchants * 4 patk per enchant) = 227 patk.

No, it would be

(3*4) + (6*8) + 191 = 60+191 = 251
