clan leadership

can you switch the leadership to another toon? or can another toon recover the clan after has been disolved is a better way to ask it.

The mantle of leadership can not be passed, if the clan leader leaves then the clan falls apart. If you want to transfer leadership you'll need to find someone willing to start the clan from scratch again, and of course all the members will have to join that new clan willingly.

Wasnt there talk about this changing in C5 or was it just a suggestion made by someone?
Time to go check !

Clan Changes in C5 - Translation (http://www.l2guru.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34657&highlight=clan)

3. The clan leader will be able to transfer ownership of the clan.
The clan leader must apply for a transfer at the NPC which handles clan business.
After a waiting period, the leader is changed.
(This will happen even if the server is down.)
During the waiting period, it is possible to cancel the transfer.
