The other day i made an in game petition because while in arena i lost xp on a death and clicked without realizing it. I got an automated response saying he was unable to help... Then i wrote a ticket through support, it went through two tiers of GMs and this was the final response:
"Thank you for contacting Lineage 2 support. As previously stated, unfortunately we are not able to assist you with this issue. We sympathize with your loss, but this decision is final and not debatable. Best of luck to you in your travels throughout Aden."
What kind of.... crap is this! So if i lose xp due to a bug, they can care less? Thank god it was my subclass and yes i did de lvl thats how i noticed, if it was my main i think i would have went beserk. >_<
Let me guess... through their search in log files you was not in arena territory. There was a special announcement about such sort of losses stating that it's possible to die near arena with xp loss (not inside).
It might be a bug in your position display, but it doesn't matter as far as server-side information is considered correct.
I sympathize with your loss as well, but there's nothing you can do about it. :(

Previously I've lost EXP in the arena and they have restored the lost EXP. On my screen it appeard as though I died in the arena but I was lagging quite bad at the time.

I believe this was addressed before and it was stated EXP would not be restored. File it under "known issue" and move on.
making fun of me? do you work for ncsoft? =.= ... because i find it pathetic they fail to provide service for something thats an in game flaw and was not my fault in any way, thus suffering because of it. actually I was makeing fun of the person who was makeing fun of the people that answered the thread instead of a GM. It really had nothing to do you.
However... THIS ISSUE IS KNOWN AND THE ANSWER HAS BEEN GIVEN BY NCSOFT!
What more do you want?
I should note that I have no idea if the GM's did respond on the issue... That's why I wasn't going to comment on this thread until that one person was saying that one thing which is what I responded to and yadda yadda yadda she never called me again.
Since it's a known issue then they know it's a game bug. They should just restore the xp once they prove through logs where it happened. I bet if the bug went the other way where you instead got xp then they'd be really fast to yoink your xp.
