I want to thank you all for your precious help about the heart of paagrio and the whising potion quest.I was lucky to take it fom the 3rd time and before that a clan mate who make the quest take it too.But i have another problem i try to drop seal of silence amulet from timac orc samman.I kill more than 350 mobs and i take 4 seal of flame and 3 chant of vampire.In [censored] the posibilites for that amulet(SoSilence)is 1/145 and for seal of flame is 1/185.and i ask what happen and the easy drop amulet dont have it until now.?i play in devianne if anyone have please reply to this thread
Think you got it bad? I was farming plated leather boot linings off krators in Cruma. I got every single other matieral drop (plated leater had the best rate) and a full glove drop (glove that's worth nothing) and a full boot drop (boot that's worth nothing) before I got even ONE plated leather boot lining... <-- That's some ****ed up ****
Congrats on HoP amulet! The Timak Orc Shaman is the correct mob for the Seal of Silence amulet.
Although not documented anywhere, the drops from mobs seem to not be completely random. Often I will get multiples of one type of rare drop and none of other types, just as you did. The only 'solution' I found is to come back another day, and try again.
But... You have 3 extra Seal of Flame amulets and 2 extra Chant of Vampire amulets. Go to Giran, and shout out that you are willing to trade for a Seal of Silence amulet. Use an alt if you get no takers on the first day, and periodically log in the alt and shout some more.
Yeah the drops are bizzare, I farmed the gargoyles and basilisks north of IT for a total of 8 levels combined (4 on my SH, 4 on my sps) and got ONE full plate armor rec. One. Crazy, I wasn't looking for that but that just happened to be the only one I got.
you just have to be patient. From my experience whenever you hunt mobs for a specific drop they never drop. Just keep collecting what you get while you grind sell it in giran and if you haven't gotten the seal yet buy it from someone.
It is so hard now to farm anything anymore. The drop rates are so low 98% of the time you eil out lvl what you are trying to farm. So just grind out your lvls sell the junk you dont want and buy what you need.

they drop like 80 different mats. I never hunt a mob for mats if it drops more than a handful if I cant spoil the mats :/
