Bad Mistake?

I was giving items to another character via the freight and mistakenly transferred them to my red char with 30000 karma! He was lvl 24 at the time and after hours of guard deaths he is lvl 3 and still has 8000 karma. Is it safe to say that I pretty much wont get those items back?

At lvl 3 shouldn't be so hard.

I never had such a problem so I don't know if it will work, but it is logical ;p

Like get to lvl 10 in 30 or so minutes, and delevel back to 1.

What server are you on? Some people might be willing to % rez you, or even help you with some gear if you drop while dying, or hold it for you as you delevel. Some can just protect you from others as you delevel.

Well if there is no way to get them back there isnt much problem trading them to a white trusted person who can pass them on to your main.

Isn't there a freight manager in Floran Village? But, that probably won't help in this case since the items were probably freighted to some other village already.

BTW what server you on and how much was the stuff worth?

I play on Bartz and it was just mats that are replaceable but my 4 Chronical Souveniers is what sucks losing. I freighted the items in Dion. Im averaging 2 karma points per death so I figure its pretty much pointless trying to get rid of 8,000 karma. My ISP is BlueIraq Satellite and I share with 23 other peeps. I work on average 16-18 hour days so with the sleep time and 5 sec delay in the game due to lag I guess I put that on hold till I get back to the states. :mad:

...how might one be level 3 when you cannot delevel past 4? Or is the 'lucky' passive a relatively new skill?

Honestly, you have been privy to a whole new 'game within a game' in L2: the karma cycle. Can be fun in the low thousands, wih exp to spare...

30k karma might be pushing it :P

I had over 100k karma not long ago. That was rough.

8k of Karma isnt that bad. get a good rezzer and start attacking Guards. I helped a friend get rid of it in about 40 minutes and with a good rez you don't lose as much XP.

Lucky skill goes inactive after you PKed once as of C3, to the best of my knowledge.

Coincidentally, at level 3, it will be faster to get someone to take you to an abandoned newbie spot and kill a few monsters there to wash than to kill - since you lose so very little exp per death. =)

Oops i missed where you had said it was lvl 3 lol. yeah.. leveling is the only way out of that situation. Level up and die down.

You can level back up from 4 though. =P

he should get a friend to let him leach in like CT swamps or something. the XP gained will help wash the karma, so while his friend is xping and your karma is washing while he kills have the healer kill you and rez you inbetween mobs.

A level 3 won't get much out of a share with a level 30.

Just have him exp himself with no grade gear, or let him leech off a low level character.

Here is a trick to loose karma fast!

Like they said you will have to re level up. Get to level 10 or 15. Then get a lvl 1 noob to come down to you can kill you over and over. It is my understanding that if a low level character kills you you loose more karma. That would mean you loose more karma than a guard hitting you!

Just drop your stuff on the floor in a safe place, log onto another character and pick it up. I did it all the time when I was tight with my money. Make sure you're white character is standing in the same spot as your red before you log...

That would be a great Idea if he could actually get the items out of freight. As it is, A chaotic player cannot access the NPC's to do it though.

WOAH! thats alot of lvling and delvling then. I almost just chalked them up to losses. hmm... I might be able to get the wife to let protect me while I level. "might" BAH 11 hour time difference :mad:
