I just picked this game up to see what's it all about. I have 2 questions before I start playing.
1. I ordered the 2nd anniversary edition, and there was no instruction book in there. Is there any place where I could get that information?
2. I was looking into making either a DA or SK. Since they are 2 different races, it would be nice to know some opinions about the 2 classes before I start leveling. I do like to solo, and party. In parties, being a tank is what is fun for me, but I also would like to be usefull in a group if not the tank.
The instruction book really was useless. You are not missing anything really. There are 2 fansites, Stratics and Warcry that will give you updated information.
Also, just search for the class informatioin. The game has been out for 2 years and there are all sorts of threads that will give you the information you need.
As for class, if you want to be the main tank, go DA. SK doesn't take hits as well, due to a smaller HP Pool. They swing a little bit harder, and have some neat skills, but they don't fare as well as a pure tank.

But as for soloing - SK is cool, cause it has many active skills, neat cubics and in pvp SK doesnt do so bad at all. And it makes pretty decent tank. As for me - I'd chose SK over DA any time :p
