Well I've worked out a rough time line based on the remarkable progress to date.
Please can everyone mark the following dates in their diaries .........
Splatter's life of leveling
August 2007 - Level 40 - class change to begin at this point, earlier would have spoiled the fun.
March 2008 - Splatter reaches official class change status and considers C Grade armor and weaps
March 2010 - Another milestone level 52 - Possible B grade gear looms on the horizon
June 2012 - Whoot level 62 - could we see another grade change???
June 2015 - The biggest milestone in the history of Lineage II - Splatter has reached level 75 and is preparing for sub class.
Splatter also begins to wonder why the server has been rather light of late????
Meanwhile in the real world (and only for fun, no flaming please) .......
August 2007 - L3 is launched
March 2008 - NCSoft anounce the final Lineage series L4
March 2010 - A new form of Lineage is announced by NCSoft - L3D
June 2012 - A globalwide phenomena hits online gaming as L3D is launched - players, mobs, NCP's all in 3D, about as realistic as it gets. Mass success as all servers are deserted in the rush to try this new style of gameplay.
June 2015 - NCSoft closes all it's previous servers for Lineage 2, 3 and 4 with the exception of 1 - they have noticed a loan player who appears to have just begun their sub class change ............
yep, in C5 you dont need to leave elmore to experince new content, they are bringing the new content to you ^^ and lots of new weapons for orcies to smash things with!
grats on 30
im wondering, will you go monk or raider?

He is a Monk already I believe...and he passed some time in Orc Barracks long time ago...when he was 28 or 29 don't remember
I think Splatter's L II career is the most known throughout all the NA servers.

Ok...I LOL'ed...... ****, we must all love Splatter!
i dont know u... but ive been playing since c1, august of 03, and i just hit 40 last week..... and if u play on kain you prolly know buffdady12 cause all my friends form d grade back in 04, are now like on their third lvl 75 subclassed three times char....... so dont feel bad its taken me awhile....

August 03? I do believe Lineage 2 wasn't even out until April of 04.
What do you do xp for 10min a day o.o? even xp 10 min a day for 2.5 years is over 100 hours of xp Only takes like 20-30 hours to get 20+ in prelude.... can be done in 10min now but even if you only played 1/2 of those days and xp for 10 min those days would still be 50 hours of xp....
Unless of course you have 6 lvl 20 alts that might make more sense...

They better give him a +50,000 short bow or he's going to be waiting forever.
Go Go Splatter! Altho I would have liked you even more if you had chosen the right path for your orcie. Orcs are meant to DESTROY things, so they need to be DESTROYERS! :(
Hmm, I think that I will still be higher lvl when I get back to playing, **** :P You have 9 months to catch up with me Splatty, show the true orcness in you ;)
Yeah, we have a clanny who's the opposite of splatter.
he rerolled in like early july. He rolled a warcryer, one month later the dude hits A grade. He hit 40 from monday to friday. Got into our clan, hit 52 like 5 days later. Then shot up through B grade into A grade.
I was like lvl 52 when he rerolled and he beat me to 61 by like 15%. He's 64 now but had some stuff to take care of so when he gets back i hope to be 67 or so. I'm 6.9% from matching SirE's level.
Then I will surpass him like a porsche surpassing a geo metro. I was so excited to be highest glad in my clan until we picked up Flecke . . .
As long as SirE eats my dust I'll be happy :p
just messing with you buddy.
Congrats, you have a life outside the game, you need to be assimilated.
I think when he hits 40, the skies should turn dark, the earth should tremble, Splatter turns blood red and a server-wide announcment tells everyone where he is every 5 mins until he's pk'd back to 39 or leaves Elmore.
That was like over 8 months ago if not the last part of last year...
No :(
My first screenshot of Orvieta was at lvl 35...I regret I did not take them before, to have memories of her in Non Grade and low D.
Even crossing 55 > 56 seems like ages ago now, it fades a bit too fast.
my level up method, the best 27-28-29-30-29-30-29-30....etc .lol man i have to watch out by not getting killed with greed,so hard to get in mith mines alone to get those EAD :)
My damage output wasn't enough for the monsters i was fighting because i wasn't using top grade. Now my leveling should pickup some....
I'm 36 1/2 on my Monk. :)
dude! No offence but you should spend less time on the forums and more in game.
With 9.3K posts, spending 30 seconds for each post would work up to a masive 77 hours you could have spent progressing your toon rather than spamming up the forums. That doesn't even take in to account the ammount of time u just spend reading peoples posts.

****, go level slacker! lol
It wouldn't surprise me if Splatter actually knew more about the game than the 80/80/80's out there.

I'm certain he doesn't.
ignorance at its finest.
fool!
dont you know! the trolls know all. never doubt that.
I love that people say that fast leveling is the only way to know anything. I love that if you take it slow and play the game different from anyone else, you're somehow less knowledgeable.

Well about 9 K of my posts have been in the "General Technical Issues" section helping people with issues. :)
Your right, why should i help others with connection issues so they can play. We don't need new players....
I had the first class change done years old, took me about a week. Now i'm moving onto the second class change :D
I know that this may sound strange... But what exaclty keeps you on lineage2? With 9,3k posts you still havent reached the 2nd proffesion, you claim that you like to help people to get into lineage, solve their technical problems etc. Was that your main goal from the start then you there purshasing the game? You purshased it and kept paying the monthly fee not to PLAY the game but actually help others with it on the forums? Was this your main goal from the start?
My friends think its funny to pay for the game every month, thay think its a waste of money... I wonder what they will say after i tell them about you

I like playing an Orc, no other game suits me. Their is just something about the lineage Orc that i like.
Helping others was the last thing on my mind. What made me go for lineage is....
I wanted to be part of something, so many others talk about the good old days of ultima online. I want to be part of the good old days of Lineage2. And after watching ./**** Sign. I just had to go out and buy Lineage2.
I'm not playing a monthly fee not to play. That would be just crazy  .... I play, just not often.
I know the Tyrant class change quests well, (I did the Gladiator ones way back in the day, anyway) so I'll be glad to follow you around like a small puppy.
And to be honest... I've played on Lionna for a year and a couple of months, and I've never seen you in game. Ever.
I had the first class change done years ago, took me about a week. Now i'm moving onto the second class change :D
Just finished those 3 quests myself 2 weeks ago today. The 1st
two are the same for Destroyer/Tyrant. The 3rd one is different,
but if you have any questions about the Trial of Challenger or
Testimony of Glory feel free to ask while it's fresh in my mind.
:)
Memorable moments: The bottom of the Mithril Mines
Have you been there with your Dwarf yet?
And hunting in the northern area of the Ivory Tower Pit and in
the Death Pass
Took me 3~4 weeks to do all three! All I heard was "are you done yet?" for awhile there
Ummmm, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Splatter spent more time posting than leveling, lol! No flame intended, I spend as much time reading the posts, just not posting much myself.
back when things were REALLY agro, that was hard doing the 10 noble ant leaders, but once you are down in the queen ant room, (don't go near the ant queen), you can easily kill and wait for respawn without drawing a crapload of agro...
I just got to the point were i need to kill 10 Noble ant leaders. You have got to be [923]ing me!
Holy [923] !!111
This is pretty easy, even solo w/o buffs. You need to be cautious, but it's not all that hard. Bring a double handful of healing potions and a couple of alacrity pots though if you want to do it faster.
From Gludio, teleport to the Ant nest. Turn around and walk down, following the right hand wall as you go down. First room has one aggro ant captain to kill or watch for, just pull them inbetween rooms if possible to kill any aggro without getting social mobs. I think it's only 2 rooms, then the path (still following the right hand wall) bends left from a room with some ant patrol mobs, down a slope. At the bottom and in the path are some ant soldiers and captains. This is very close to where you want to be. From this point on you should see some ant nobles mixed in. Just pull to a corridor between rooms where there are no other ants, or go a bit deeper until you reach the queens room and pull the nobles to the edge of that. (AWAY from the Guards!)
As long as you rest away from the aggro and avoid as much social as possible, which isn't all that hard really, this part is just as easy if not a little more exciting the rest of the orc quests.
either go to mob track and ask someone to come help you or get some 70+ buffs (also at track)
i've gone down there with 4 random ppl i met at mob track so far and it takes me less than 10 minuets to help them do it
this part is just as easy if not a little more exciting the rest of the orc quests.
The devs don't make it easy to be an Orc or a WarLord.
No they don't. I've done quite a few 2nd class change quests, including a couple on the PTS when the PTS cats were AWOL, and the Orc Destoyer quests are the longest and hardest to my mind.
I did PP recently, and I got something like 15% from mobs and XP rewards for all three quests. Last time I did the Destroyer Quests I got around 75% XP for the same. And I've done Destroyer twice now. Once early in L2, and once later after rewards were changed to reroll the name of my Destro.
The hardest parts to me were the Tamlin and Timak Orcs. Tamlin have social archers nearby and are tough mobs if you aren't in C grade, while Timak are incredibly more difficult, as you really have to avoid the aggro of the Timak Troop Leaders in the same area the normal Timak orcs are! (Single worst re-arrangement of mobs in game IMHO.) The Manashen Gargoyles are pretty bad as well...their stun will land far too often and stick far too long.
In contrast to those mobs, the Ant nobles were simple and easy. Annoying, but easier to manage aggro, adds and damage.
omg this thread is OLD and you're still keeping it alive, lol
No, it's Splatter himself keeping it alive. Didn't you see he posted he's got to go to Ant's Nest to fight Ant Nobles for his second class change quest? ;)
*Ok, it's done I made an alt on Lionna to get in touch with him one day to make a screenie, Splatter if you want, pm me one day with your name, and I'll get to you, I'd like to see the most famous monk of L II NA.*
Ah! It's the guy I met at the entrance to the nest. Sounds like you had a rough time.. I was gonna get my swordsinger to help but then you ran in there like a madman  Glad you made it out alive though :D
Splatter has come so far *sniff* They grow up so fast. *sniff* I think I'm gonna cry, He's off into the world to destroy unmercably, I'm so proud. *sniff*
Now I understand why people are having trouble loggin in and other problems that seem to be going on. Splatter tried to do the class change and the server doesn't know how to handle it. All the NPC's are having a meeting to figure out what they are supposed to do.....The Orc guild wants to have a big party, but everyone else is a little nervous.
Now use those shadow weapon coupons wisely. You're so lucky that you turned 40 when they give it. I remember the first time I turned 40, everyone had to lend me stuff :(
I think NC should give Splatter a little something to commemorate this, like a weapon (like the Chronos) which isn't available on NCNA (so it's unique) that he can't trade but is a nice reminder of his achievement :D
Hope you are feeling better :) I like the quote from Dune, did
you read it during your recovery? Great to see you back, and
Elrohir, all at the same time
Even when i couldn't post because i let my game time run out, i checked out the boards daily. Not till that little incident was i truly not around for awhile. :(
