I wish I didnt click on that, I hate seeing how much better Korea's site is :(. Oh well, they have the audience and we cant expect much for only 10% of population
EDIT: It seems like ours finally has it too, but only with a very rare chance of dropping.
Do you have a screenshot from it ?
anyway, if we are less populated then korea, does that means we get less things too ?
imho, we also pay to play right ?

There can be various reasons. We have no idea what they do in korea..I know they ban chinese IP addresses for one to help with the botting problem so maybe ours is shorter to avoid bots flooding the market with pollen and enchants. We will never know why and there really isnt any use to speculating.

Wow, yeah, their pumpkin event lasted a long time and gave level 11, 12 and 13 crystals.

im no marketing genious, but maybe..just..ohhh..."MAYBE IF" lineage 2 NA had the same subscription pulling content as it does in korea (longer events, more events, non-PvP server, RELAXED server etc) we would have more subscribers?
*wanders off mumbling something about red headed childeren in basements*

Thats a risk not worth taking in this stage of product life. They will just wait until lineage 3 to make another NA push.

Well, we do get less information.
Even if the droprate chance is very low, it would have been nice to get the info in english from the official event folks.
And finally, it's not your opinion, we also pay, that's a fact. Kind of like I would take LC666 saying that they drop 11, 12, and 13 crystals as a fact. But that's a question of credibility.

Just to make sure I'm reading this right...you mean you accept that they drop those crystals because LC is credible?

NO NO... You're reading me all wrong.
What I am saying is that if LC says they are dropping 11, 12 and 13 crystals, then I would consider it as true as anything I can pull out of Stratics (wich is pretty reliable imho (THAT's an opinion)).
If it's not true, people will come up and correct him, and I'll be the first to whack at him if it's not true...
It's just that without verification, I would take what LC claims as fact. THAT's credibility.
We said the same thing there. ;) I just wanted to make sure because for all I disagree with LC about things, he tries hard to make sure stuff is verified.

I was saying that assuming we deserve the same everything as korea has is an opinion. I dont think you needed to point out that we pay subscriber fees....

Koreans only allow people with Korean SSN to play on their servers, it has little to nothing to do with Chinese.
Thank you for the vote of confidence (from the both of you). I do make mistakes and sometimes so does stratics as well, so its good to take what is presented with a grain of salt at times. :)
I can't read the page, but I can use logic to deduce its content and structure, and its clear to me that 7,8,9,10,11,12,13 <something> which is pretty clearly in what appears to be a reward field would be referring to soul crystals, since it really makes no sense otherwise.

I doubt our problem is all that much bigger.
I played korean beta, fake korean ss numbers are easy to use to play. They do ban chinese IP's now because they did have a big chinese farmer problem. Why are you doubting me if you dont know anything about it?
Well being this is the NA servers, they could come up with a policy that you need a NS SS number to play.
But i think thats right up there with when pigs can fly. :)
Yeah, implement that policy 2 years into a products life when you have built up a worldwide customer base. Way to make commercial suicide. ;)
Had Lineage2 NA been purely targetted at the NA market then they could have done that. However, it has been touted as the international release for some time, hence the release of the Euro server. Had they got their [censored] in gear earlier then maybe they would have released Australian servers ect.
The bed has been made by NCNA and we have to lie in it. We will forever be the poor relations of the Lineage2 world.
Oh, I am not saying they don't and didn't do that, because of their policy regarding using korean SSN, it became easy for them to justify banning Chinese IP blocks. But their origional decision to make the games like that was not about Chinese.
As for my second part, there's still a big botting issue in Korea as well, and koreans do bot themselves.

I never said they added SS numbers to help with bots. I did say they blocked chinese IP's to help with bots which it has. Of course there is still a botting problem but I imagine it has gotten signifigantly better with chinese IP bans. Dang us for being such a multinational country! Who said diversity was good bah!

The Korean website is terrible. It is bulky and takes an age to load, even on a broadband.
