Legacy of insolence quest doubt

Hello, my doubt is about the quest legacy of insolence. I have readed a couple of guides about it, but there is a thing I don't know yet, and it's talking about many money to experiment with.
The npc is supposed to change your 13 TOI blueprints for "either a glove, helmet or boot design, or a recipe, from the set you want". So, can I chose if I want majestic design or recipe, or it is random?
I would appreciate your help.

You get to choose What set you want.
Thats about it i think.

GL with it, i know the first time i did it i wished for Maj and got 1 Maj boot design.

Or, if the GMs actually fail to hit the "gimp quest rewards" button when you turn in the blueprints, you can also get ALL 3 RECIPES together. Very, very rare though. Heard it is also possible to only get money, but never seen that myself.
