There are now a flood of stage 13 crystals hitting sieghardt. How might you ask? Well automated groups are now farming the rift raid boss to produce 13's.
Two problems I find with this.
#1 it should not be that easy to make stg. 13 crystals in that level of abundance. (The particular toon has made over 10 in the past week) Doing epic type mobs such as Antharas and Valakas should reward entire alliances on getting stage 13's. Instead we have automated 9 man parties farming stage 13s.
#2 How can NCsoft be so blind to allow automated groups into the rift to take advantage of this?

It's common on all servers i think. I know our alliance dedicated probably 12 hours a week to leveling crystals in the rift. So here's a problem. My alliance is one of the big 2 on Lionna lvl 13's we can get from Antharas and such. But what about the smaller alliances or those who dont' want to get involved with big rivalries.
The rift is really the only way for those people to get any 13's at all. I agree that it shoudl be a challenge but you can't take away the only means for non powerhouse alliances to get them.
OMG people can put SA's on their top end weapons!! That's HORRIBLE we better stop that right away by making it brutally painful and almost impossible!!

In 9 man automated parties that hunt 24/7? Didn't think so...
No, but why on earth does everything have to be destroyed and ruined because of these parties? Not hey, let's ban these automated parties. No no. Let's make live players lives miserable and sucky instead.
Correct me if i'm wrong but for lvl 13's it take antharas, valakas or the rift right? so lilith and baium dont' work? Lets run with that assumption and if i'm wrong we'll adjust.
So antharas spawns about once per 6 days. Lets assume that via baium and lilith you get lvl 12 crystals. Not always a good assumption but lets take it. That means that in a single month you can get a max of 45 lvl 13's. Valakas as far as i know has not been killed on any server besides lionna and that was just the one time.
So the MAX number of S grade SA's per month that could be added is 45. So one clan, who would inevitably be either a strong farmer clan or a powerhouse who controls the server could outfit 1 clan and sell the rest for an excessive price. Get the farmers banned, don't take away the ability for other players to get SA's.

Only 300m on hinde? They're 500 on Sieghardt and selling pretty well lol. The point to the thread which it looks like some people took a different way, is not to take away the fact that other players than the power house clans can get SA on top end weapons, but it's a little too easy for the RGI's to attain...seeing that the only other method is epic bosses. I don't know if there is a middle solution though to keep the RGIs from getting them easier than normal players, as we arent capable of being in the rift 24/7 like they are. The odds stack in their court once again.
yet another problem caused by 'automated' play, these kind of things arent going to stop happening unless more solutions are found to address the root of the problem. I agree with physics4ever, it's un-fair to change the game in a way which makes it harder for real players, then the 'un-namable players' would be causing even more trouble.
Not sure how that even bothers anyone when the rift is instanced.
That's just the thing. Of course it sucks that the farmers are cornering the stage 13 market, as everything related to them sucks. But with the rift, you don't have to go through them to get your stage 13, as you have all the opportunity in the world to make it yourself, because they can't camp the rift as they do with the other bosses. Stage 12 might be a problem, but I hear we'll get more ways to get them in C5?
Wait, they made 9 of them in 1 week? Our clan made 20 of them in 1 week cause we needed them for all our weapons and the weapons we are going to get. Are we bad now too?
I'd rather see em levelled in the rift than on epic bosses. The epic bosses the unmentionables can (eventually) camp out and stop any regular clan killing and getting the crystals, not so the rift bosses.
What I'd really like to see is stage 11 and 12 being levelled on rift bosses too...then ordinairy players might actually be able to get SA's on our A grade weapons without having to pay those idiots crazy money for em. I've seen people saying they 'know' people who have done it but never once seen anyone claim to have done it themselves.
But to address the original question of how can they allow automated groups into the rift...how can they stop it? They can't seem to rid the game of them so I don't see how they could rid them from just that area lol
the whole crystal situation is stupid. The fact that you can only level 9 crystals at a time, is just idiotic. But then again, so is running around killing antharas for 2 hours, and getting no xp. or, epic jewelry going to those who ebay the most cause the farmers constantly farm every boss that has epic jewelry everytime it comes up, scratch that, EVERY Raid boss the second it comes up. you cant get to a boss above 69 anymore, without running into a o0 clan, or a xX clan. or the fact that getting a room in a necro is **** near impossible unless you sway the festivals because of the **** bots. **** necros, you tried running your 76 quest lately, with the bots out at argos? or maybe hotsprings, looks like a **** assembly line out there,all the bots running ingrediants quest.
