secret tree in Kruma marsh

Hello, I need to find a secret tree in the Kruma Marsh lands.
It contains a book im suppose to retreive for a quest im doing, can
any of you help me locate it?

there is a tree close by gludio just after the bridge that leads into cruma marsh lands, go left and he should be right buy there. I think he was hard to kill IDK maybe all you have to do was talk to him. I think I kill him when I did it.

the color of his leffs will be alot brighter then normal color trees of the area.

No, you definitely have to kill it. I'm not sure what level it is, or how hard it hard to kill. I had some nukers do the most work with poison, and then I smacked it around a bit till it died (I was on my SE).

If you run straight for cruma tower from Dion and head left when you drop down from the cliff you will bump into the tree for the wish pot quest, he's in a ruins looking spot very near. Depending on your level he could be bright red to you but not all that hard to kill. Respawn is fast too if doing with a friend.

There is a guide at L2 Vault (http://l2vault.ign.com/View.php?view=Guides.Detail&id=32) that has a map of where the tree is. The other maps/locations are mostly out of date.

The tree is slow as molassas, and has no ranged attack. Use a ranged attack against it, and kite it.

Ignore that previous poster...you only have to talk to that tree, Not fight it.

You used to have to kill the tree. Has this recently changed?
