I was recently struck by nostolgia remembering the old Fanta Shokata ad campaign in which they would let you add subtitles for a foreign movie. When I went back to make one for L2, I found that the site had closed down.
I was however, able to find a site performing a similar service and thus made my own video for L2. Tell me what you think, and post your own if you're feeling creative. Keep them related to L2 however, or this thread is doomed to the off topic forum.
Though it says you have to send it to a friend via email, you can simply put your own email address in twice. Once you click OK you'll be given a url that links directly to your movie.
I enjoyed it, lol. Here's another one from me. Apparently the movie selection changes every day, so new opportunities to be creative will show up. I'll try to think up more when I wake up this afternoon.
When you make a movie through the site, you should be given a URL after you click the OK button. Just do a direct link to the URL in order to post your movie.
Well I'll assume you got the movie set up already, once you're done with it click on the URL that looks something like this http://www.grapheine.com/bombaytv/play_uk.php?id=1491205. You'll be taken directly to your movie when you click on that, you can either post that link directly here or use URL direct linking.
In order to use direct linking, look for the 'Instant UBB Code' section when you're making a reply on this forums. Click URL and paste your link into the first box that pops up. Next hit OK, and from there type in the text you want the URL to be linked to, for example "My Movie".
Great stuff so far, glad to see everyone is being so creative with these. I'll probably wait until tomorrow for my next so the movie selection can cycle.
