Skill Enchant: Cost or Power?

Player Questions Started Last reply 8 posts
Which way should I go to get the most out of recharge. Lower cost or higher power? Or are they the same? *wonders*
2 mp per enchant cost, or 2% increase in power per enchant power. Do the maht
The raise in power isn't as good as doing it for cost.

at high lvls a SS can recharge them selfs and recharge others.
Heres a table I set real quick

From a SE wearing BW Light LvL 74 ^^
Mana Pool = 2397
Times you can cast from mana pool = 17.5

Cost = - 2mp per enchant
(X[times cast] * 136[mp])
-------------------------
[MP Cost] = [Times Cast] = [MP from Mana Pool]
135 = 17.75 = 2414
133 = 18.02 = 2450
131 = 18.30 = 2488
129 = 18.58 = 2526
127 = 18.87 = 2566
125 = 19.18 = 2608
123 = 19.49 = 2650
121 = 19.81 = 2694
119 = 20.14 = 2739

Power = +2%
(17.5 * X[power])
-------------------------
[Power] = [Total MP from mana pool]
138.72 = 2427
141.44 = 2475
144.16 = 2522
146.88 = 2570
149.60 = 2618
152.32 = 2665
155.04 = 2713
157.76 = 2760
160.48 = 2808

From that then Power is the way to go as you get most MP out of the mana pool

Then ++ Power is the way to go =)

could you say more then that.

Have you compared actual ingame experience from this? I'm not sure if my calculations are 100% accurate but from the table it would seem that power yields better results than cost. Do you know of any recharger that went the + power route?
The only thing about that chart that is flawed is the "in-between" time. A recharger, will not (and probably cannot, unless having Seraphim buffs) recharge constantly for the entire length it takes to empty the mana pool. There is the regen time, inbetween recharges. However, even with that said, and even moreso acutally, power would be the way to go. You would get the most recharge out of it, because seriously, I'm a 4x Warlock and I regen more than 2mp per tick.
