Ok soo Im super bored cuz i got up early wanting to see if C-5 PTS was available yet. and im looking thru newsletters from the past, and i clicked on the very first one. It stated this :
(One of the most requested features we are currently working on is character transfer, which will allow players to take their characters to other servers. We are evaluating this now, and hope to bring this offereing to you in the very near future.)
Sooo what happened to that? I mean i've been here since June '04, and i never heard bout any character transfer. did they do this already? or did they scrap the idea? I really would like to do this lol. It would be an awesome change of people. Soo NC NA make this happened. lol like you do anything players want...HA!
As I mentioned recently, at this time we do not plan to implement server transfers. That doesn't mean that we don't appreciate continued feedback on this topic -- hearing both sides of the debate is always useful information. Thanks!

Just get a very large hammer, some sticky tabe and a couple of paperclips. Next take 2 servers, jam them together using the above materials, Done! People now have more population and more PvP, problem solved

That said those being transferred should have a different color to their name for maybe 2 months. Also they can't own castles during that time. All gear they own should be transferrable. If not then other methods will be used to transfer items and adena. I know NC would rather not talk about the last part but it's a real issue and should be discussed.

IF they actually open up and say that they arent planning on doing them at this time instead of saying that they are still in the works and thinking about it that should be a flag to you that it is not going to happen, ever.
I prefer the drama off my own server where everyone has made a name for him or herself. An influx of complete strangers would upset all that has been build up.

I say let them change servers only one time.
yea. it could b like a one time thing. cuz i really wanna move to bartz or sum server that is more populated. but....alas...i would have to start over. NO THANKS!
Simple example: Base mats on Hindemith, for a long time, were approximately half the time for those on other servers; that means totally different conditions for money making (crafting for profit ++, manor --); is it fair to jam these people together with those who levelled and earned their gear under other conditions?
No, it's not. However you merge, 50% to 100% of the new server will have been royally screwed in the process in the end; no to it, forever.
lol i cant believe you guys are even discussing what it should be. They pretty much came into this thread and said it isnt going to happen so why debate what it should/shouldnt be when it wont even exist?
Please offer server transfers or merges, make a time limit of 6 months or a year before you can transfer again to prevent abuse of the system & charge us 25$ per account/toon. I know very many people who would be VERY willing to pay NCSoft 25$ for this service, myself & my entire clan included.

In my opinion politics in this game = lame! Just kill who you want when you want its more fun.
