Lag unplayable?

Logged on pallyboy and lag was bad and 2 disconnects.

Looks like PTS downloads are killing the live server.

Not for me, but it will come soon enough
yes, me and a number of my friends from the same area are experiencing weird lag spikes and disconnects. It can last from couple minutes to couple hours. kinda annoying.
found the same--4 disconnects in about an hour. thought it was probably my computer connection after all previous posts on this topic....hmmm
yeah, I was in the middle of freaking pvp stuff when it started going bad for me. Dc'd twice, died to mobs, other such things. Sucked hard ^^; As I healer I felt doubly bad.. can't keep the **** group alive if I lag to hell

oh well :P can't really do anything about it *downloads pts*
Yep, we had a couple of people drop group because they were lagging so bad last night. I hope the PTS isn't up too long, its kind of frustrating.
actuly the lag wasnt to bad
comparning to friends from the states (im europe)
who where lagging beyond play-able
I thought it was just me last night. In Dion I lagged out for a few minutes, had to kill the game. Came back and I noticed the crowd in Dion thinned out quite a bit.
hope the lag will be gone for the sieges
...yea not much hope for that
i don't know anything about computers (truth be told I dont know much about mmorpg's either!).
Is the sudden rise in our server's ping related to the PTS? Is that increase in ping just my computer's response (does it vary) or does everyone see the same "ping" rate?
Last week Lionna pinged for me at 91. It's 117 this week and I could make a sandwich in between clicking the mouse and my toon's response to directions. I'm not even leaving a town this weekend in game.
My computer is relatively uber--I have a pretty good comcast dsl connection. All other internet games seem to be running without much trouble.
Is there something else I'm supposed to set up with my local computer to overcome this sudden slowdown?
Lionna SS lag + server crash = logon PTS
