how long will the pts stay online before the real c5 is available for playing?

They haven't given an official date, but they've been pretty consistent in releasing a Chronicle one month after it hits the PTS. I'd expect them to do the same, give or take a week in either direction.

ok cool thnx. and one more thing. is it safe to run l2 while the pts is being dowloaded?

Silviera Jul 27, 2006, 5:09 PM #4

I have no idea, but I can't seem to open my normal L2 client while the PTS is being updated. Though I'd expect if you connected to normal L2 before starting the update client you'd be fine.

1. Start regular L2
2. Start PTS updater
result: you're in game and PTS is downloading ;)
For some reason you can have two clients up but not two updaters <shrug>
