Best server for 2 New players is??

Which is the best server for two new players to start??

Me and my GF will be duoing most of the time and in groups with others the rest......still dont know which classes to take to complement each other though.

So, is it better to go to a highly populated server or a low population server? Also, which are the high and low population servers?

As i know plp from determined language prefer one or other server. Brazilian plp love be in Kain :), i know have one other that have a lot of plp from Grece.

I dont know about others, but in Erica you gonna finde more bot that real player, that way is hard to find a strong party, do not have a lot of PVP, PK. Giran is full but all bots and seller.

i belive middle population server is better. On high populated servers people sometimes have problems logging in, and they have more lag and less available hunting spots. On low population servers, well there is less people to comunicate with. Also thing to consider is ping on servers, the less the better.
Also, you can go to a different server for a fresh start, if you wount like it on your's prevous server.

Imo Kain is pretty good. Basically lots of drama. 2 huge clans one big alliance, crushing all...good people trying to fight back to take a piece of power. Makes it interesting anyway. Other powerful clans fighting the super power, some win some loose.

Problem is big alliance likes to cheat to stay ahead. Otherwise, good server. Nice medium small clans to get started with! If you decided to join kain, drop me a pm on these boards and maybe you can join our clan.

Good classes to complement each other are a Shillen Elder and some sort of nuker like Spellsinger, Spellhowler, ect. If you become Spellhowler you get to join up right away since u start in the same town. But anyway, SEs are probally one of the best classes to duo with. Have Heals, MP recharges, and empower for mages and Vampiric rage for fighters.

Well if you plan to duo a lot then basicly every server will do. If you can play on US times, go for server 1-8. If european or close to it go TEON.

I would also advise you to avoid servers with a rulling alliance/clan. I know for a fact that Hindemith is to much divided to have rulers. Right now there is another powerstruggle between some big powerhouses that makes good watching material. This also means that both sides are on the lookout for good recruits to fill their ranks.

I'm kinda new to, getting back into the game, and i don't like devienne, to many bots and convenent is just pwning everyone. My question is, who has lowest server pop? cuz i want to make a clan with a new char, find some other noobs, and eventualy create a dominant clan with a clan hall and a chance of not beeing olbiterated by clan who is just a big meeny!

pick lowest ping server either US time zone or Teon.
Uber alliances will never effect your playing for a LONG time if you are just starting. In that sense all servers are very similar.
I play on Lionna where Invincible/Chaos wars are the standard and other than town taxes and getting killed for walking near their hunting areas--neither makes any difference to me. To be honest, as a casual player I'll probably never have a toon to participate in higher levels of game anyway.

The LAST chronicle of the game is about to be launched, then about 6 months later, this game will be handed over to the bots and a couple dozen live players who are afraid of change. Lineage 3 will be launched into beta testing soon(prolly early next year) and soon after you will see retail go live.

Until then, check out Archlord... a new game that is L2-esque and about to hit beta any day. Since it isn't NCSoft, I whole heartedly expect their Zero Tolerance approach to botting to actually be enforced. See you all in AL.

Is there a L3? If so will it be more friendly to "westerners"?

Also, Aion is a NCSoft game and looks like this one.....will it be the replacement?

L3 is on the horizon. They have already bought the engine for it, and development is in the works. Look for the beta to start early 07 (early meaning before July). This has in no way any official NCSoft blessing, just a good hunch. Archlord is very much like L2, clans, alliance, open PvP, server jerks, etc.... and should be launching in a couple months, which means... clean servers, no high level gank squads and no predetermined UBER clans. Oh, and did I mention they will absolutely not tolerate bots?

Pure melodrama. All they've said is that C5 is the last update to be named as part of the "Chaotic Chronicle" series. Future updates will have some different theme.

L3 being in development is neither a surprise nor a death knell for L2. Consider that games like L1 and AC1 are still going, and further consider that sequels to MMORPGs don't always find favor with their existing customer bases (AC2 = R.I.P.)

I hope L3 will be a game worth playing, but for now it seems that L2 has quite a bit of life left in it even considering certain known issues.
