look for the ping...or really depends on what kinda server you want...sieghardt barts and kain are pretty much PvP, kill anything that moves...so if you want PvP...try those
If you want Drama moove to Hind
The Drama comes in waves.
Lots of drama normally = lost of seiges and pvp.
Not much pvp when the Drama is low but you can still find some..... somewhere.
Some clans have been in a state or semi-state of war for months
Some people say that our server has a "low" population but I say thats all relative. Besides, the players we do have are VERY active in game and in forums. Just take the Lienage radio DG during the last weekend.... 90% of the people sending him stuff to shout/say on lienage radio were Hind Players. Hind this, Hind that .... lol. Hind Players are everywhere !!!!! Lots of great clans, very few newb pkers, lost of helpfull people and an overall great sever.
Thats my opinion, never realy played on other servers too seriously.

i found that lots of ppl were more then helpfull at lower lvl's to answer my questions and most of the drama that everyone talks about on Hindemith is when you get into either (a) a clan that just goes around and declares war on any clan in general. (b) you get overly cocky or (c) you get up in the higher lvl's.

I'm going to roll Hind just because the server seems to have the community on it. Thanks for all your opinions and no offense if I didn't take the server you wanted me to. :D
