alright im at level 35 and the time is coming to make up my mind on which class i want my assassin to go. so far ive been using both a bow and a dagger. bows are great for soloing and do huge damage per shot. but i like using a dagger also because of the amount of critical atks and the skills are fun (bleed, sting, etc...) the problem is i like doing raids...correction...im addicted to raids..lol..(Draeco from devianne :D ) basically i want to hear from AW and PR that have played for a while and can tell me the pros and cons of each class before i make a decision. so i want a class that is good for raids, strong and able to solo easily, and is good to have in a party. any help will be very much appreciated as i have no idea what im going to do. lol. thanks all who answer.
both classes are T3H PH34R in c5. but archers arent largely loved in raids cause they take aggro way too often. and ye got no def or good HP so ye always dies m8.
so take AW. your value in C5 for pvp just went through the roof, making your value in raids extra uber.
take a focus dagger and in your raids youll pop him full of damage about as fast as any nuker can; with one advantage: you have better evasion and can hold your own vs any raid if you keep to the rules.
thanks spudnik. i didnt really look at the C5 stuff so that definetly helps a lot. i think AW is prolly the best way to go. but if anyone else has something to add im still checking. lol. any PR out there that can give me some information or their experiences is also appreciated. thanks all.
The AW will still be killed before he reached the target.... it didnt change in C4 and in C5 aswell.
Remember... ti use your Backstab skill to.... you still need tor each the target and most archer or mages will kill you untill then.
PR is the strongest Archer from all with the Patk and Crit (if he crit).... 78 HE with cat buff crit a Ashenkas on Hex with about 8K+.... with CoV between 9 - 10K and a PR is able to crit over 10K.

ok you don'T seem to get what being a dark elf means. it means you hit hard, hit fast, dissappear.

to that extent, AbyssWalker class plays its role VERY well.
you can run quite fast up to your target, hit hard once (twice if youre lucky) and kill your target before your target even rotates the camera to look where he is shooting.
don't forget evasion is quite high when youre in B grades, and youve also got the Bow skills (even tho they are minor) from when you were D grader. if you need to use them bow skills are a viable and useful time and money expenditure. every AW i know owns a bow and a dagger. likewise the PR with the dagger skills he has from sub-40 lvl. they count. they hurt. they are a good way for PR to use Mana regen time.
this is why i said every AW with Might Mortal (mortal strike in C5) will truly be feared along with thir currently feared twin; the PR.
true, it takes time to run to your target. if indeed you do end up getting shot at, there is a good chance (with evasion buffs, speed stacks etc) that you can reach your target avoiding every shot. then when the time comes, KAPAOW (or so you hope) and down goes the dreaded phantom ranger.
but believe it or not, yes, you CAN sneak up on any class and backstab the **** out of them. you just gotta gain experience in that area, and practice on unsuspecting PLAYERS. wait till they run through a forest, and scare the bejeebers out of them. try it. it works.

having an AW as my main and playing a pr a bit, i say go AW all the way 1: for the same above reasons in raids. For the people that seem to think all damage from AW is in the backstab you're crazy, look. at 45-even lvl with an orc tyrant(clan friend), with same lvl SE buffs, was able to drop him from full cp and health to 300 hp left in 3 moves. AW has backstab which yes is a sneak attack, deadly blow does almost as much as backstab with front or back crits, mortal blow, bout 2/3 the damage of deadly blow, + non buffed attack speed of over 400 at 45. I personally have +9 DS/Focus dagger and ill tell you right now combined with ss and vicious stance i hit NORMAL swings on mobs my lvl for 1200+. fully buffed with GAS pots i have an attack speed of over 900 which is absolutely insane for daggers. As a pvp point of view in c4 were not as good cause of all the classes that can root/sleep/kite, but ill tell you what in c5 bypassing cp, ingnoring shields and yet ANOTHER crit bonus lol.
from the standpoint of grinding there's no better class, i can grind yellow mobs literally without stopping with just popping attack speed pots and using ss and self buffs, but with full SE buffs my char is godly. In AI even at % almost to 50 i can still bust out 50+ % in a matter of 1.5 hrs and lvl in under 3 if im really in the zone.
