Hello, I am new to the game and approaching level 20 rapidly, I am wondering if I can get some feedback on what I should be when I get there, a knight or warrior, does one get more groups, is one a lot more fun, does it not really matter?

Warrior if you want to kill things fast adn lvl up fast, as a warrior you can go for glad which is really good at dealing out massive damage on a single target when he gets his double or specially triple sonice slash, pole warrior are also good if you wanna get a group easy but i have to tell ya persoanlly i dont like my characters using a pole because pole jsut looks ugly on a human wearing them, hehe no offense to pole users out there ^^,
If you go Knight ya you become a good tank, you kill abit slower until you get to lvl 40 and become either a paladin or DA, these 2 classes DA or Pally gives you more damage than your erlier class Knight against undeads and suchs, Paladins can heal other ppl which isnt that good for my taste and and use holy strike on undeads on undeads and oh yah they have holy wepaon and holy armor skills which im not sure if tis still bugged, for DA most fo he knights ive seen in this game go for DA than a PALLY since DA is morefun and more Damage dealer than a paladina nd they can tank also, i think DA is the second best tank in game besides Pally.
Oh, btw i have a 46pally in game and 58 gladiator so i got good experience playing both and what i found out besides which one can get group easy is that i like paladin or da better than a pure warrior type like glad or warlorcd cause its much more fun playing a melee type that can actually cast a small amount of magic like heal or buffs on himself or the Dark Avenger summon pet.
So final tally is go warrior if you want pure melee in this game if you want to be more of a damage dealer as a gladiator but wihtout a few magic on you or go Knight if youwant to go for DA or Paladin which can cast a few tricks of magics on them, and oh yah besides what is better depends on you, some people play palain or da just becuase they like those class and some people play glad or warlord jsut they they like being a brute ingame :)
Hope that helps on your choice casue i have to tell ya rerolling your guy can be boring having to lvl him up again and oh yah btw atm im now levelign up my fast hitting Elven Knight that is going for Temple Knight ^^
Now for the PvP aspect of L2. Dark Avengers/Paladins will do better in PvP than a Gladiator once C5 hits *a month away*. Since i, as a Treasure Hunter *Light Armor/Robe Killer* kill Gladiators with relative ease but i dont even touch a tanks CP, just shows how bad Gladiator is in PvP. A Warlord isnt so great in smaller PvPs while a character such as a DA can be somewhat usefull. I'd go Dark Avenger personally just because its more fun to play.
