Yep I've been playing since Prelude, with about 4-5 weeks break from the game in all that time. My highest char is 69, and I only have one alt above 40.
I fit in this category. I'm in the low 67s but I level up in bursts, usually 1 level at a time. I grind a level out in a week then I sit around for a month. It's been like that for a while now. I also die a lot being a spell howler. Also, at the moment I'm stuck figuring out a way to get an SA on my sword of miracles, being that I have about 10 mil, and I need 110 mil or so, not to mention EWA scrolls. I guess we'll see. I'm not planning on leveling again for maybe another few weeks.
Ive been playing since beta, the graphics really impressed me. Got all character slots filled and all characters are above 30th lvl. My highest is a 51 lvl artisan. I am not as into lineage 2 as i was in lineage 1. My biggest memory of lin1 was the hard grind to get from 51st to 52nd. You could play hard for 6 hours and only get 3-4% which might be why i stopped lvling my main at that point in lin2.
So i use lin2 as a place to just take out aggresions and relax. All my toons have top gear for their lvls and are all geared for raiding.
Personally i dont care about lvls which is not typical even for me in online games but im only a lin2 part-timer now anyway.
I started in prelude but have had a couple breaks that each lasted a few months. I've only rerolled once (see sig, primarily because of my friends moving servers) and my highest char is 66.
I miss those days when gludio was the big market metropolis. Running around looking for cheap d-grade gear to crystallize (OMG 4k profit!!!) and doing overnight shops for 10k.
Been here since CB also and my main is in the low 60s. It's annoying to see my "friends" fly by and then disappear (since I'm no longer of a level that would be party-able, according to them). Having a blast tho, and don't feel the pressure to be character-uber-alle. :)
You're not alone...
Here since OB, main level 56 Arti, 3 30-40ish alts...and they all level faster than my main :p
At least my clannies still party me, even tho I'm out of range :) If I just had more time to play...
I've been playing since prelude and I'm hovering before 75.
gogo sov!!!
need any help on the subclasser bosses just pm me :D
Don't think I won't take you up on that!
acckk the dreaded Double negative!!!
I don't think that is really a double negative as the first negative refers to "think" and the second refers to "take". I might be talking out of my *** here.... but for some reasin I'm thinking the negatives need to refer to the same thing or to eachother.... Like I said though... I don't really know.
Been here since OB and my highest is a 56 WC. Been taking long breaks in between chronicle updates... This game was not designed for people with a life :p
Been playing since open beta and haven't reached on both chars 60 yet O.o Quit several times and it's mostly the playtimes which limitted my lvlingexp :p
NCsfot could have corrected this abnormally in levels but they didnt. Everything I have seen so far caters to the higher levels There sure arent enough of them as it is.
What kills me is the PVP/PKr who thinks he is GOD with his higher level. But couldnt handle a 1v1 of equal level. Or for that matter the higher player cant even handle a 1v2 if the levels were just 5 or 10 below him.
WHY? Because they dont have any pvp experience but are constantly levelling. PVE is not the same as PVP.
Started the last week of closed beta. My highest is approaching 74 now. I also have a 48, 44, 36 and a 30'ish scavenger that has deleveled hundreds of times (I'm keeping her in range of great bone spoiling mobs).
Been playing almost constantly since Open Beta, and highest char is still a few levels short of A grade. I have a bunch of alts I use to farm cash and stuff to sell for cash or just have fun with, and most of them are within a few levels of 40. Only 3 are Second class, and one sub-40 was rerolled to change the name even though they had made it to L43.
If I really wanted to, I probably could already have at least one char in the high 60's, low 70's...but I play the game to relax, not to *work* at it.

Not a double negative.
Or put in another way:
"please do not think that when the time comes that I won't consider taking you up on your offer because I will."
Started in Prelude, just getting my main to 75, currently its at level 74 and 56%. Have an se alt level 50, scav at level 19 and a strider at level 55. Gonna grind hard to level 76 (gots to have vortex) and then will break and go back to casual grinding.
I'd bet most people posting in this thread don't have personal buff bot(s), which is the main reason we're not past 75. Most people that I see past level 75 usually 2-3 box chars.
I've been playing since Prelude and not 75 yet. However, I've spent considerable time on alts generally goofing around. If I hadn't and if I maintained my sanity sticking with one main character (two big ifs) I'd be well past 75 by now and probably into 6x range on a sub (assuming I found a way to do the Fates Whisper quest).

Not actually true. My highest toon (the one that was my main the longest) is actually now my buffbot.. I have..
72,69/70,66,64,58,58.. and a bunch of 40ish. the 72,64, and 58 are all buffers..
Started playing in open beta, had to take about 3 monthes off cause of connection problems and a hacking issue losing me everything I owmed. That toon I got to 58 before rerolling to my scorc, and this toon is now 64 but only because of ABG in c3 with the oh so lovely aoe parties there. :) -- Ah, allas, those glorious days are gone and it's back to the lesser forms of grinding and smaller, less effective aoe when we can manage it.
I have been playing since retail which is close or is open beta...
I have a 63 TH, 63 OL and a 56 PP with several other mid 30's toons and a 40 sps. If I had played my first toon I would have hit 75+++ in c2 or mid c3.
I've been playing since the first day of Open Beta, and my highest level character is a level 57 Prophet, 1 3 month break b4 C4, and 1 6 month break from Dec - June during C4.
:) Lvl 68 is my top, and have been playing since the day retail went live. But I also have a personal lvl 67 buff slave that I duo with, but didn't start her until last September. Other than that, I have a lvl 59, 50, 45, 42, 40, and a handfull of D graders. (two accounts)
Thank god us Pally's finally have something to look forward to.
Started in closed Beta.
Made lvl 78 like 2 weeks ago, now i have to lvl the sub...
When i started i thought that i would never get to 75, and never thought about getting any higher...
Hehehe for a first time i fell little bit 'comfortable'. **** i thought i'm alone with my leveling speed :)
I created my BD in first day of open beta and now i'm just 69lev T.T
But I have 57 SE on second account as well - at some point i couldnt find any party coz of gimped class so i decided to do my own party on such a case ;) Also i did 43 SH for low leel raids and fun ;)
And since moth i level up my hatchling - so my main in last month get +/- 0.00% :)
Anyway i think it's a matter of player personality. I know persons which leveled they characters up to 75 in 3moths. For me non-stop grind isn't fun at all. And most of my online time i just spending on talking and helping others (if I'm able to do so). The problem is that all my clannies run away with levels from me. 90% of them is 75+ ATM (1 year ago we where at almost the same level).
L2 it's cruel for ppl with small amount of time T.T
Been here since the beginning aswell and my highest character is a level 67 (almost 68) Tyrant. I probably would be 75 by now and possibly the first 75 Tyrant on Devianne if I didn't stop playing him back last year, he's still got his weapon and half his gear, but I kinda rerolled a bunch of other toons like a Bounty Hunter, 56, Prophet, 56, Abyss Walker 57 (main as of now) and now recently made another dwarf going Warsmith to help fund my crafting needs. I will get my Tyrant to 75 one day, just not really ready for that 67-75 grind.
Started 4 days after C2 was released, changed servers 3 times. Both after getting a character to high 20's (The first character I made on Bartz actually only made it to 26... Second one, on Erica, got to 28.)
Currently I have a 49 PR, 43 Warlock, and a 24 Cleric. I probably would be a Warlord right now instead, but I took a 5 month break after creating my Warrior character (my first on Lionna) right after C3 went live.
Started the first day of Open Beta. My chars and my lvls in my sig (tyrant is close to 70 atm). Well, there you cant see a lvl 52 SH definitely retired long time ago.
I was invited to Closed Beta, got wiped at prelude :/ I just hit 20 when the first guy hit 40 and won the Alienware system <now THERE was an event> been pluggin along since and now have a 63 SE. w00t
I've played on and off since closed beta, I have a 57, a 51, a 38, a 36 (deleveled from 40) a 30 and a 19.
Though due to the same tech problems I made a post about months ago, I am unable to play at the moment. Gave me an excuse to reunite with old friends, Fallout and Fallout 2.
I started in CB and have been playing off and on since then, I have seven characters and my highest is level 64.
I tend to level in bursts when something motivates me to do so. For example I jumped from 61 to 64 during the squash event. It wouldn't be hard for me to grind to 75, but to me there isn't much reason for it. When I consider all the other things that I could be doing during a day, it becomes hard to invest the time needed, even with all the multitasking I do while playing.
I've been having a lot of fun RPing, running off doing random things for friends, helping newbies out, and participating in fun things like the kainmotion zerg. I tend to pick fights that I'm certain I only have a very small chance of winning. My favorite kind of fight is one in which I achieve victory against overwhelming odds (which most of the time means being outnumbered), which of course means that I die in almost every battle I participate in.
I've been having a blast so far and I don't feel the need to grind my way any further to have fun. I plan to stick around L2 for a while longer, and if NC continues with the grinding events maybe I will hit 75 some day. Until then I'll be having a great deal of fun doing my own thing.
I've been playing since OB (with a one month break thrown in for flavor) and my highest toon is 70. On the upside, i've played almost every class to 40+ now. :P Next up, necro I guess. :x
Since I posted I've finally hit 75 and 4%, not counting the 8 times I died and releveled. Guys, hate to break it to you, but the level 40 quests were a walk in a park compared to the cartwheels you need to pull off for level 75.
Don't mean to discourage you guys, but its not a fun ending to hitting 75.
I've wasted my entire weekend and endangered my marriage by camping the raid bosses and Bauim. I got the 4 raid bosses courtey of raid famers <Ugh!> I camped Bauim and sadly feel asleep and missed getting in by a minute. So I get the joy of camping him this Friday.
I've been playing forever with no characters in their 70s yet. In no rush to get to the end game. Add me to the third or fourth wave of folks that will probably see 75 by the end of the year.
Started in OB, I have 5 A-graders on 4 accounts, and I just deactivated them all because NC******* screwed my wife out of her account because some time in the past 2 YEARS! while moving 5 TIMES! we lost her CD case and her ex bf setup her account so she didnt know her hint question. 1 68 SE named Adriela on Erica is gone! Along with a 62 Prophet, 64 BD, 67 SWS, 61 WS! GG NCscrewurcustomers, there was a LOT better ways you could have handled this. I am going over to Turbine, where Asherons Call 1 reigned as supreme MMO for years and now they have DDO and are releasing LOTR:Online. Better QoS, Better design, better graphics, better games, why not make the move? If I get the crave for L2 again, I'll just hit one of the many private servers, which is more fun anyway, and they hold better events more often, geeze why did I pay for such lowsy play and headache grinding for soo long? >.< CYA and GL2YA if your staying! Hopefully I'll find some of you on DDO in the future! LilBrat out!
I have yet to have a level 54... Been playing sence prelude, played most toons above 40 (If not on my account, someone elses). But I tend to reroll to much or switch games to often. Yet, i have seen Gustin Servers entire history! Its nice to watch a clan grow from 4 people to be what they grew into.
Started in OB here, now mid-60s Swordsinger (main) and 1 primary alt, with a handful of lowbie alts just for the fun of them.
Though I spend large amounts of time RPing, and doing things in-game to support the RP community that have nothing to do with XPing or farming or other game-mechanicy stuff like that... there's a lot of work that goes into having an RP community, like gathering racial lore, background info, quest info, finding appropriate locales for events, etc etc.
Though I have taken a few months off now and then...
have been playing since OB with no characters higher than 46. I did reroll a couple of times and I guess if I still played with my cleric it would be a bishop now in it's 60s. I only hope I actually stick it throuh with my current main and at least get to B grade :P.
I'm playing since last week of open beta (if I remember correctly it was 1 week after Gustin was started) I'm really the kind of 24/7 player, but no botting no ebay. All in all I have been 3 month on Teon and maybe alltogether 6 month away from game. So thats like ~20 month for me playing an average of 6 hours the day, but I have no A-Grade armor or weapon, no level 75. I made a second account in autumn 2004, because i figured its almost impossible (very slow) to level a dwarf up without party or buffer.
My chars are:
SE 71, BH 63, WS 60, EE 50, PR 48, OL 42, Rouge 37, Scavy 35, HumWiz 33, Artisan 31, DarkWiz 17, 2x Dwarffighter lvl 10.
