Scammers in Dion

Watch out for this scam in Dion bone helms being sold as brig check price and if it is as advertised I'm there at this moment and seee no less than 4 ppl doing this shame shame

Quite sad really. Not only that they scam, that is well within their rights I suppose, but that they scam so badly they have to do the exact same thing as everybody else.

hehe i gave the money back free and clear, let them keep the helmet. i shoed them how easily they got scammed, and they vowed never to get scammed again.

so really i havent pulled it off and gotten away with it.

but the gfalse item scams are manyfold. from spirit ore posing as crystals, to helmets with generic icons, to switching qty and price. its so very easy to get scammed in L2.

I think the best for making money was the Waking Scrolls for Blank Scrolls scam. Just about everybody lost money to that, I know I almost did.

I've seen some dwarves in Dion trying to sell EAD pretending to be EWD. They have a message saying they're EWD and the pricing is that of EWD.

Thats an old one, NOBODY ever fell for that.

All that is nothing! I've seen in Giran a dwarf selling dark crystal robe set more than 250m, but the helmet was a simple d-grade helmet. All the rest parts were correct, except from the most expensive dark crystal helmet :)

You have to double check the stores now and to be very careful even for the smallest thing to buy.

honestly the worse thing that happened to me is when other dwarfs set up privatecreations and label it 20a-200a craft and then you're tired and just want to get the stuff made and you click on it 3 times and i says insufficeint adena and you realized the [censored] have it set up as a 2mil craft and you just pumped 6mil into to some *** holes pocket ><!!!! only happened to me once I buy the stuff now screw making it

Atleast they change this in C5 it's alot easier to tell what the price actually is.

Last night in dion (9/5/06) i ALMOST bought from shop advertising "EwD's 500k".
Of course in the shop were EaD's.
Always gotta check twice!
