What's the difference between P. Attack and STR?
DC Light gives me +4% P.Att, +4% Attack Speed and +1STR but
Heavy Tallum gives me 8% Attack Speed and 2STR.
Are (2 STR) better than (+4% P.Attack with 1 STR ) ?
P.S. Im Prophet. I dont care about casting speed (i wear another armor about that). usually I party with my girlfriend lvl52 SE (im 63) and I want to decide which armor is the best for me. I want to tank in this duo.

It's about same, it's counted differently on different classes. For my WC i chose the talum heavy, but also for more pdef then light and shared helm with talum robes.
I'm not sure, but as i remember (i might be wrong) 1STR adds +2% p.att
So in your case, you would loose 2% of your current p.att but you would gain extra 4% for your attack speed.

Thalum heavy is better in your case.
I did the same claculations for my prophet to figure out what A grade set was best. She has +4STR -4CON tatoos and I took that into account when I made my claculations. Dont think it should affect things that much, but Im guessing you migth have that tatoo too.
Anyways, Thalum heavy (with more speed) ended up being slightly better than DC light for damage over time even if it had less p.atck. If you also want to tank, then Heavy is better.
Two reasons for picking Thalum heavy over DC light:
- Thalum heavy will give you a higher damage output (over time)
- Thalum heavy had more p.def than DC light
