Dwarf power!

I was thinking about making a Dwarf alt soon, and I'm now seeking advice.

1. Should I outfit my dwarfy with top NG? My character has about 180k right now, and it'll take 320k to outfit it with top. Waste of money?

2. If I was making it for money making purposes, should I got BH or WS? I heard WS is quite profitable, but the return in profits is a very slow process.

THanks
I enjoy my scavvy. But can only stand to play him so much. I think scavvy would be a faster way to make some money. The bears outside gludin spoil bones i believe. So thats easy money. Getting them in top ng gear wouldnt be a bad idea. Leveling a dwarf can be painful so the best gear you can get for them is a good choice. Arti..hmm I had one once but never crafted anything good. Need alot of mats to craft anything to great. Shots will make you money but takes alot of patience. I would reccomend scavvy.
Well the question of to buy gear or not - not sure it will help lvl faster for now but may delay your purchases of d grade.

AS for making money I would say this Both make a lot of money especially at higher lvls. The scavanger will make more money from the start as crafting at lower lvls is not as desireable as it once was. The main difference is your play style - Atrisan takes a lot more attention to detail (what mats to buy, what mats to craft, what prices are good for mats, and which items are in demand and how much to charge for each) - scavangers go get it and unlaod it

Hope this helps
instead of making a dwarf alt for money making in game you would be better off learning the manor system. You can make a lot more adena using manor than you can with a dwarf.
It does, thanks for the quick replies.

My first character when I started way back in prelude was a Dwarf Scavenger, and I remember how hellish it was to level up, let alone bear the boredom (the only skills being spoil and scavenge). However if I fit my dwarfy out it shouldn't be as bad maybe, so I'll see.

What if I use the manor WHILE playing a dwarf?

Honestly though, I've been avoiding the manor kinda :p
It all seems kinda confusing, despite the nice picture guides I've seen made. So I guess I'll just sit down and force my teeny brain to learn it
I started with top ng for my dwarf and got from lvl 1-20 in 2 days so me i always want to have the best i can get, arty makes alot of money if u invest alot of money while scavy u can have 100k one day and have 25k the next and then have 200k the day after because it all depends on how u lvl(solo or group).
after 20 i soloed in ac for a few lvls and because i had top d grade (brig everything including shield and helm) and a tarbar i was able to solo in nos and make great money.
while arty u can make alot of money crafting and selling soulshots u can yield 500k profit a day ( if u have a recharge and have a shop up all day) so like i said it depends on whats ur prefence. I hope that helps you. =P
Thanks for the sound advice about Scavys and Artys.

All right so about the Manor system...would it be okay if I sowed and harvested green mobs? Because I'd rather not grind on whites. I would test it right now, but all of the seeds appear to be sold out.

greens are good, you only start having problems on mobs which are light blue to you for a few levels.
Also the closer you get to the top lvl range of the seed the more fruit you will usually get back. 2x-4x hp mobs will also give you extra fruit per seed. You can spoil and seed the same mob, takes some practice to get it right. You need to harvest the seed before sweeping for the spoil or your mob will disappear and you lose the fruit.
at level 20ish, in top brig with tarbar head to Necrop of Sacrifice with those seeds "youngster".
At first stay in first rooms...you'll also get seal stones which is cool.
