question on pets

Are they always out, or can you put them away (unsummon them)

and if you can put them away do they still require food while in that state?

Figured I'd ask before i do any of the quests for them.

Like the idea of the wolf till i can get a hatchling (even then would likley keep both)

You can unsumon them, when unsumoned they dont use food. you can put them to wh when unsumoned.

Just remember that the food meter on the pet has to be above 50% to unsummon it. If you ran out of food you will have to log out to unsummon a hungry pet.

You can do the wolf and Hatchling quests as many times as you want provided you meet the minimum level requirement. (You do have to run around and kill things again though.) No need to grind up another char if you need another one....for whatever reason. Not 100% sure, but I think the baby pet quests are one time only though. (Even if they do cost you a 500K weapon each time.)

yeah the wolf quest is repeatable, the baby pets are 1 time..

warehoused him though, was doing fine fighting mobs. it's the fools casting spells or power shotting him while i was out hunting that were the trouble...
