Ok so i have kinda a problem. o read somewhere that at 4 PK's u can drop ur equipped weapon if attacked and white. is this true? i have 4 Pk's and 6 PVP's and i wanted know. also, if i carry an extra weapon with me is there a chance i might drop that if im attacked while white?
There are the following groups:
Being white with any number of PKs
against NPC: can drop items. Cannot drop weapon.
against Players: cannot drop anything.
Being red with 0-5 PKs (yes, you can be red with 0 PKs)
against NPC: can drop items. Cannot drop weapon.
against Players: cannot drop anything.
Being red with 6+ PKs
against NPC: can drop items, can drop weapon.
against Players: can drop items, can drop weapon.
Please note, that with "items", I mean every item in the inventory, including any unequipped weapon and the equipped armor and jewelry. With "weapon", I always mean the currently equiped weapon.

I know you clarified it at the end but you cannot drop "Equipped Weapon" is how it goes I believe, unless Red with over 5 pks. If the weapon is in inventory it is fair game to be dropped to mobs/npc's. Sometimes it does happen that you drop equipped weapon to mobs/npc's when 5 or less pks but in that same thread they said petition a GM and it will be returned. If Red with over 5 pks your equipped weapon and everything else except adena is fair game to drop.
I'm not going hunting for the thread because they prune so much out here :/
