You gonna love to defeat antharas and get no exp points (bug).
You gonna love to have a Clan Hall, port there while in siege, crash and get a full exp loss at lvl 76 (bug).
You gonna love to ask for something that's yours and that known bugs take u away: they don't reimburse you neither they will do anything to solve those bugs.
You also gonna love to petition cheaters, botters, ebayers, to get the auto response about some kind of investigation, and to see that 50% of the players connected are bots, the players(?) u reported are still there and they will never get banned. Are GMs blind or what?
You also gonna love to see people afk powerleveled by bot trains and nothing could be done against them because they are not cheating for NCSoft.
My personal opinion: L2 is a good game but that lack greatly of support. Also it's something NCsoft is not investing at, they just leave the game be as long as it can.
PS: This post doesnt concearn directly Eula and isn't supposed to talk about. They are some thoughts about an honest player that's in the game from the open beta and doesn't see the in game support adeguate in terms of (relative) "justice".
As long as I haven't been working for NCsoft support myself, I am not going to say "They ain't doing nothing." because hell, I don't know what they are doing, when they are doing, what priority they are working... etc. etc.
Though from outside, I see bugs fixed, bots banned and further development of the Chronicles.
Maybe at some time, at some place, a GM will be allowed to talk about what his day looks like and what he's allowed to do and what not... Maybe players will then start to see how things work in the background.
There's always pro and cons to careful investigation, a swift sword does not ensure justice...
MMORPG have a monthly fee because they require a lot of work. I pay this monthly fee, I play with their client and just that, and I play it fair. The game is hard itself, more if u add bugs that are out of your control and just their responsability but they cant/are not able or do nothing to fix them and, moreover, u dont get any kind of recover because they dont want to give such kind of recovery anymore. On the other hand you see people that breaks eula not having any kind of consequence, neither after u report them because GMs cant/are not able or do nothing. :confused:
So far I found that
a) I dont get any kind of reimbursement even for bugs or game related function that I could prove NCSoft is the only responsable for.
b) I cant help (?) GMs with my in game petitions or support tickets to report farmers, bots, ebayers because after several reports I just got auto response and no action taken.
As I know point "b" is taboo, and I know the truth behind it, I just would like to get your attention to point "a".
