any idea on when NCSoft has this up and running? I been googling and see a lot of companies gearing up with their licenses. Hate to see NCSoft not get the jump on the competition.

No way in hell 2007, more like late 2008, most likely 2009. Apparently there should be some teasers of what the game will be called and a few drawings at G-Star later this year.

I believe NC have also commented that this will be the last of the Lineage II Chronicles - They'll do updates to C5 but nothing as big as C4-C5.
no it's just the last time they call a major update a "Chronicle" they will just call it something else. We are still gonna have the big updates like in the past but just with a new name.

Not exactly.
They are calling the updates something different.
NC sure shot itself in the foot with that little mistake. Now may people are saying that "C5 is the last chronicle... L2 is doomed", when that is not the case at all.
But yeah... I also read that they are going to be releasing some L3 information early 2007. They would have liked to have the game done in 3 years but "best laid plans".
