I called your offices... and got a recording that the times they would be open is from 12pm-5pm cst.
I thought I explained to Mistryl once that there was no such thing as 12pm. THIS HAS GOT TO CHANGE!!!!!!!111111
Seriously. I love you all. Please fix my account before Sovath's, so I can brag about it.
The end.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :p
If you don't tell them you love them, it will be slower. I tried calling, but I didn't like the holding music. Maybe some L2 Opera would be better. Just a thought.
Maybe if I pm spam... spam loves me... and I know how fast he is...
Theres no such thing as 12pm? as in it should be 12am?
What maybe its because its 2am here or 2pm??
Are noon and midnight 12 a.m. or 12 p.m.?
This is perhaps the trickiest time question of them all. The best answer is that the terms 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. cause confusion and should not be used.
To illustrate this, consider that "a.m." and "p.m." are abbreviations for "ante meridiem" and "post meridiem." They mean "before noon" and "after noon," respectively. Of course, noon is neither before nor after noon; it is simply noon. Therefore, neither the "a.m." nor "p.m." designation is correct. On the other hand, midnight is both 12 hours before noon and 12 hours after noon. Therefore, either 12 a.m. or 12 p.m. could work as a designation for midnight, but both would be ambiguous.
To get around the problem, the terms 12 noon and 12 midnight should be used instead of 12 a.m. and 12 p.m. For example, a bank might be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Or, a grocery store might be open daily until midnight. If you are making schedules, times such as 12:01 a.m. (one minute after midnight), or 11:59 p.m. (one minute before midnight) also can eliminate ambiguity. This method is used by the railroads and airlines.

I did call them... this was the recording:
You have reached the Billing and Technical Support Offices of PlayNC. Our hours of operation are "24 hours around the clock". Unless this is Sovrath. You may call within a 55 second window of time that is randomly generated each day for your specific Billing and/or Technical needs.
Thank you and see you ingame! Unless you are Sovrath, we'll see you in hell as we are currently deleveling your character as you hear this recording much like the "Parking Garage Guys" took Ferris' car in "Ferris Buehler's Day Off".
er... uh... i love you nc soft :o
edit to Maline: they make numbers past 12?!?!?!
I have one account that I swear has the right birthday and I can't get into it. So for that one I will have to go through support. At least I got my others back fine.

They know you are a Red Sox fan. As such, after the enormously large stroke of luck you received with POS Indian closer beaning two people, walking one, then giving up a walkoff double, you have used up your entire year's quota of good luck and quota relating to all forms of entertainment for the year of 2006. I hope it was worth it.
that's the dumbest thing you could have possibly said. As previously explained, IT DOES NOT MEAN NOON! It simply can't...
Definition of pm: 12 hours after noon. That would mean that 12pm would be midnight. It shouldn't be used for midnight either because 12am means 12 hours before noon.
Midnight=12pm or 12 am. Noon=Noon
so NCsoft's answering machine says that they are open from midnight to 5 pm. so only between 5:01 pm and 11:59pm you can't get support. So they are open ruffly 17 hours a day according to the machine. Since they aren't really, NCsoft are a bunch of liars. Either that or they are incompitant.

uh, I hope so too as I didn't even see the game.
When it's 11:59am in the morning.... once it hits Noon 12:00pm
PM:
Main Entry: post me·ri·di·em
Pronunciation: -m&-'ri-dE-&m, -"em
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin
: being after noon -- abbreviation PM
AM:
Main Entry: an·te me·ri·di·em
Pronunciation: "an-ti-m&-'ri-dE-&m, -dE-"em
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin
: being before noon -- abbreviation a.m.
This is why AM/PM is confusing, because 12 AM is 12 hours before noon hence midnight, 12 PM is 12 hours after noon hence also midnight.
So I guess so as to not confuse the poor people, it was decided that one of them doesn't really mean what it means. Though it would make more sense to go 1 PM, 2 PM....12 PM, 1 AM, 2 AM....12 AM.

12pm doesn't mean 12 hour PASSED Noon, 12pm mean 12th hour in the noon.
Various sites and languages can't determine or understand let alone makes logic sense of the 12/12 am/pm clock cycle.
Although i love my GMT and 24 hour clock, i have to live with stupid DST and CST and PST or whatever time cycle when a simple GMT would make everyone happy.
12pm is noon, it's 12 hours into the day, it's 12th hour on a 24 hour clock, and 12th on a standard 12 hour clock.
12am is or should be the most confusing because it's actually 0 on a 24 hour clock, it's midnight.... morning.

no you are wrong. sit down.
No, it's quite correct. You're just an idiot.
A day goes from 0:00 to 23:59 At 0:00 you are before 12:00 noon...thus making it AM. At 12:00 you have passed the instant of "noon" and move into PM. This makes 0:00 to 11:59 inclusive a 12 hr segment and 12:00 to 23:59 inclusive a 12 hr segment. Thus breaking AM/PM by 12 hr cycles of the day.
The military works on a 24 hr clock because the military has to do everything in "idiot proof" form. We shadow box tools, we put arrows on rifles, and we put "point at enemy" on claymores.
Obviously, you would prefer the idiot proof system.
The chair is over here.
