Gameguard unchallenged ? Traffic CHARTS ! UPDATED - Retail Forum Archives

Maximum of users ever connected at the same time to these boards were, as indicated on Main Page :
Max users online was 1204 @ 20:36 22/12/2004

This was due to Gameguard being installed and a major outcry from the community.

This week has seen another major event... Account information compromised and all servers brought down in emergency.
But this time even the boards were down.

So Gameguard is still unchallenged and keeping its lead as a board event.

What do you think it will take to beat it ? C5 ? L3 ? The Prima Guide ? Character Transfers ? DarkMotion ?

This event would have topped it, if they hadnt shut the boards down ....

I agree. Judging by the post counts on other boards, this incident would have caused a massive meltdown of the boards, so taking them off was probably a good idea.

Check these : L2 Boards on Alexa (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?&range=max&size=large&compare_site s=&y=r&url=boards.lineage2.com#top)

The crash is not a bad thing for everyone. The boards are seeing a traffic rarely seen... Providing evidence of a victory over Gameguard !

What's Gameguard?

It's the very small peak (http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?&range=max&size=large&compare_site s=&y=r&url=boards.lineage2.com#top) on december 2004.

So it's not even coming to the waist of this disruption.
