Thank you NCsoft for the prompt, courteous help with my account. The time, considering the issues, was excellent and I am very impressed. Thank you for all the time and your efforts.

P.S. I know not everyone is happy right now but I wanted to show my appreciation.

Gratz on getting in.

I have a feeling that most won't post that they've gotten in. It's human nature to complain. Some will, most won't.
I spent approx 30 mins wating in line on the phone, and my experiece is the same once I reached an exccelent agent called "John" - good service, and efficient help.

Thanx John.
John helped me too! took 30 seconds once i tlked to him =)
The reason people are so disguntled is because NCsoft is severely understaffed when it comes to dealing with 1000s of petitions in a short time, and people get ancy.
Well, I still appreciate their effort, though there's not anyone I know that has had their accounts recovered yet, myself included.

And I am starting to fear that the response will simply be more questions = more waiting.
i keep a book of my secret answers, passwords and userhandles for times like these.

i dont know why anyone wouldnt keep such a book.

grats on getting in, and WE WILL ZERG U!! .. once everyone gets back ...
Uhm...except they're not working for many, including me. Its not accepting the answer.

when my b-day was entered/recorded wrong, a book wouldn't have helped. As will it not help with many people who had the wrong b-day for 1 reason or another.
actually, it would have.

there are so many people i know that use phoney birthdays phoney addresses, and phoney names to avoid issues after the unavoidable hacking of a database occurs. these people never seem to remember that phoney acct info is so easy to loose and forget. to write down that phoney info would at least salvage the account if nothing else.

a tip: use your real infos; and to quote morpheus "you take a chance either way"

I keep use of over 7 different security passwords which are no more than randomized sets of numbers, letters, symbols, and mixed capitals. I use them in series for layered accounts and security situations. I set both my L2 accounts to the same set...and only one worked. I fear they may have been some error's on L2's part in the pass reset. Or maybe I let my finger off a shift during password creation. Who knows.
Doesn't really help when the answer doesn't work.
I completely agree, I had to try my answer about 8 times before it was "correct"...and I typed the SAME thing in over and over.
"John" also helped me.... actually I think he is named "Johnny" thats the name I have in my NC-Ticket.

And Yes it was VERY good and professionel custemor service.

I vote for "John" aka "Johnny" as a GM..... now lets get those "[censored]" b.o.t.s. out of there :)
quick, swift and without any pain for real customers :) :) :)
I have several accounts and had no trouble at all logging in.
Only one had endured a password reset (PlayNC account side) and it swiftly worked with the birthdate/secret question.
hi,
does anybody have recover his password without phone, and only using the "support.plaync.com" if yes can u say how long does it take?
thanks
i has my account back in 4 days after i contacted ncsoft by email
it took five days for me, but i finally received the password rest email. now i'm back in the game, so to speak.

The reason people don't keep such a book is because if someone gets the book, they have everything.
