I've read a little stuff from other posts and forums but I can't figure out how to go from Elven Village to Gluido for the test, and i've also heard that you can start it from 19 or something, is that true? Thanks in advanced :D
Two ways... teleport (expensive) or walk.
Gludio is west and south of the elven village.
(Hit the map and follow the road that goes south... you won't be able to miss it really as the mountains and hills will assure you go right by it if not through it.)
Stay close to the road as there are some higher level creatures that can eat a lower level character if you stray too far. Some of them are near your level but aggro in clumps and thus can be dangerous if you aren't ready for them.
(Elven knights are tough as nails, but too much is too much...)
Also note, some players like to be dorks and will stalk players 40 levels lower than them on that road. Keep your eyes peeled for lowbie gankers as well.
Nothing is more frustrating than having the requirements and then losing them right before making it...
The elven knight quest is pretty straightforward, and requires only a small amount of effort, but it is best taken on when you are 20th level or higher especially if your gear is not great.
19th level characters can indeed take the quest on... but you cannot finish advancing until 20.
If you are thrifty or perhaps have generous friends the elven knight quest is MUCH easier in D grade equipment.
(which you can wear without penalty at 20th level whether you have completed the quest or not.)
You can always teleport to neutral zone from elven village and from there you can use scroll of escape , with that way you pay 1/3 than using direct teleport from elven village to gludio .Enjoy :)
At 15 I ventured out to see the world and do the wolf pet quest. I had zero issues (well except some freaking how I missed a question in the test and had to do last part again :confused: ) I was really scared to leave my forest at first; but put my ears and armour/weap in bank for safety, packed a knapsack lunch and went for it. It was lot running but easily dodged any cretures and no PKers chased me. Was fun to goto the big cities and see so many players in really awesome looking armour and clothes. My gawd.. soooooo many dwarf shops in Giran.... looked like a whole sea of em.
Anyway hon, we on same server (cept Im in dark elf area) if ya worried get ahold me and Ill do the run with ya. :) Ill even do my best to momentarily forget all the travesties (sp) ya race has commited on mine, and resist poking ya in your lil milky elf booty with my sword...
