Hi! I'm wondering what che pro and cons are with these two characters. When i finally get my account password back i will have to choose one of them. Is one of them a better tanker or does one of them deal more damage ?
I'm really curious about this, and since i havent tried either one I'd appreciate some advice.. thx :D
Dark Avngers are offensive tanks, high Pdef and Mdef coupled with a Cat give them great DPS
Paldins are defensive tanks, same high Pdef and Mdef coupled with some fantastic Heals. Sacrifice takes your HP and heals someone else. It works faster then Greater Heal and heals more.
In C5 the Angelic Icon buff will give Paladins a much needed attack boost.
Coming up in C5, every tank gets extra bonus skills: a damage skill that does other stuff too, and a root skill. Paly's get even more good stuff, including a really kick [censored]self buf that makes 'em fast, crit more, and harder to kill, and a way to banish undead. :)

I've never played the paly...regardless you had better like to tank!
If the DA is the better offensive player than the paladin is a whimp cause the DA is really underpowered.
Solo'ing is ponderous with DA. He has no worthwhile attack specials and you'll go to the poorhouse trying to use the panther.
Perhaps at higher levels or with C5 something changes. I don't know.
DA is a really good tank (which I love to do) and I hear better at Pvp(though my exp is that everyone kills me)..but "better" is a relalative term.
The classes both have no legitimate offensive capabilities through B-grade (which takes awhile) and this is an offensive oriented game.
I dont regret DA choice over pally. When my clanmates aren't playing and I'm solo and trying to level I sometimes regret Tank class choice...it takes some real determination.
That's not how PvP works. Listen: how many people do you kill?
Of course I know DA and Pala aren't killed by HE. Who would target them except because of haste? Mobs maybe?
PvP is about comparing the numbers of kills, don't you know?
Nah they're not weak sauce it's just most of the people who play them think they are a hit and chase till they die kindof class, if you were to face a real paly/DA who knows what they're doing you would change your mind quickly, and
_pING I wonder about that too since her melee characters aren't even C grade and PvP levels are 55+cause that's when the race/character divide really takes place.
Also if you ever happen to see a tank with a +++bow comign your way, you're a dead bishop, root+3k dps ftw
On a side note, 3k dps means 3000 damage each second (as in damage per second). As you don't hit every second with a bow, that means you deal more damage than a real archer. I'm truly impressed.
I tried duels against SpS and PR with higher level, and the result is a draw 'cause let's face it Bishops can't hurt a fly without a lucky augment. In duel I think PP and SE can kill me, but DA... why not a BD too? Oo
3k was exageration(but witht he right buffs, possible) but still no matter what unless your a mage you still hit hard with a bow. Also yes Tanks can kill bishops, BD's can kill bishops(eventually) Even dwarves can kill bishops, bishops aren't made to fight they're made to keep your people alive, you don't fight, you get others to fight for you and keep them healed
Hehe you said it, Bishops are made to keep people alive, including themselves. Only danger is dwarf's stun, archer's stun shot and **** SH's silence! (Grrr)
Otherwise, you can't kill me while sleeping. Well in your dreams, but that's not the point! :p Hence the draws.
