Finally sold a +6 SOL I'd been selling for a couple of weeks
This was all in the space of 1 hour from my main getting the drop.
Mine would be back in C2, I had just hit level 40 and obtained an Eminence Bow with cheapshot. Unfortunately I couldn't afford Theca at the time.
I was leveling west of Oren on Timak orcs of various types, when a party of 4 showed up in my hunting spot. It was comprised of two dagger users, an orc mage and a healer (I don't remember the specifics of any of them anymore). One dagger user flagged on me and I fought back, the other 3 immediately flagged. I took down both mages fast and proceeded to kite the two dagger users, thankfully they were missing specials here and there as I was popping healing potions. It took a while but I eventually killed both of them with only a sliver of life left.
I messaged the original dagger user asking why he had attacked, and he responded that they wanted the hunting area to themselves. I continued to hunt there for several weeks but never saw any of them again.
I used to have a detailed story about this in RP style in the Tales forum, but sadly it was pruned during my absence.
Edit: It was made all the more satisfying because if I had lost the battle, I would've deleveled beyond using my bow (yes, I realize that was a stupid move to even be in that situation, much less flag on a group of 4). I felt pretty invincible when it happened.

Of course not. But me and Kaelir (I'm sure you remember her) ended up dying 5 times together, in 3 different places, at the same xp level and deleveling each time. Then returning to get our xp back.
Yeah, she told me about that whole Faelir thing. =P
Anyway...my finest hour......... hmmm.
I'd have to go with the time back in early C2 when I was just starting, me and a friend I had met just recently were hunting north of Gludin, around the Vuku Orcs. I was a human fighter, we was an elven fighter. He was play an archer, and I was the tank. It was your normal party. I ended up getting to level 19 at that time, and I told him I was going to alt tab to check something on the official site. Well, I heard the sound of an elf male dying while I was alt tabed, so I was like OH [censored]! and hurried to get back in game.
My friend had died, and dropped a Brandish. I picked it up, left the party, and never saw him again. o.o
For me it was prolly on Alligator island, after an hour of fruitless training, I finally got Kar. gloves, FPA and Comp boots.
Thats when the enforcer came to train me (with a HUGE train). Since I was on my WS, I stunned her not once but twice! Needless to say she got dropped by her own train and dropped me a BW Breastplate and around 2700 BSS.
Outside of that my best drop from a mob would be 2 Mithril (C-grade) tops from Silenos outside Aden, both within a half hour of each other. :)
My finest hour was when I finally amassed 97 million in cash. I currently had 2 characters, a lvl 40 dwarf without a weapon, but full C gear except for boots/gloves and a lvl 61 gladiator with full BW set, 2 pieces of majestic jewlery, tallum gloves/boots.
later that day,
I had 15m, a +5tsu*sls, and tallum plate armor . . . it didn't last very long. Now I am a poor bastard once again.
Now to answer the question for real, i would have said lvl 61 except for the fact, the pain was that I wouldn't be able to afford A grade, so it was bitter sweet.
So my real finest hour has not come yet. I am still waiting to have +4 dual kesh, tallum full set, and a pirate's eye patch. Then again, i'd substituate +4 dual kesh for +10 ore more tsu*sls.
My best Full drop has been divine stocking (1m value) that I donated away :(. I'm still waiting for something special.
well first was when i crafted my Soul Bow (5 months of gathering mats), then it was when my MAJ circlet craft work (failed 3 boots and 2 gloves though :() and then it was when i hit 70...my next one will be when i hit 76 and 3rd class :)
Mine is kinda a small thing for most. But last night I went to TOI for the first time. I got owned. Then I got rezed. Then I got owned again. Then Rez. Good news is we took down a raid boss and got an enchant armor A. I was ok with that. After about the 4th time of dying I thanked everyone for the party and was on my way to somewhere more my speed so I could gain some levels. TOI is sweet though.
At the siege against Epoch for Aden on Hindemith. For once being useful at a siege and killing other melee. Remember having friends on TS saying who has a target and the reply assist me. Standing outside those doors and absorbing the hits while my archer buddies took people down felt good. Best siege I ever went to and the most enjoyable as well.
Going red for the first time with my rogue. My favorite hunting ground has started filling up with those automated fellows and I finally had enough. Went red on one then all I had to do was approach all the others. They all logged and I had the area to myself for half an hour :)
