well everyone thought the limit was 1 billion on clan halls but that was disapproved then everyone thought 2 billion was the limit on clan halls and now thats been dissapproved.
So ncsoft can we get a hard number on how much exactly is the **** limit on clan halls because it isnt stated anywhere i can find?
It's the biggest possible number you can represent in a 32 bits int type, that means:
((2^32)/2)-1 = 2,147,483,647
And that's also the limit on the amount of money you can have in one place.
Please, NC, go 64!
Thats the highest signed number. You can have unsigned 32 bit as well. Plus didnt the last chronicle move the servers to 64 bit.
Yup, that's why I said int, and not unsigned int.. ;)
Now, if the servers are trully 64 bits why can't we have more than 2 bil adena? On Sieg that's the minimum bid an Aden clan hall was going for, the current owning clan would bit that amount and no one could outbid it bc that's the highest you can go..
Last bid on an Aden clan hall was for 2.2 billion, the minimum bid I think was 50 mil. After the bid there was actaully too much adena, and the rest was put back into the clan wh, I think about 2.1 bil was the max, and the minimum bid for the clan hall went up to 2 bil. Anybody who bids after loses though, the earliest bid for the max is guarenteed to win.
..... personally I think there is something wrong when a clan hall cost 2.200.000.000a thats compleatly insane.
I have played for like 9-10 months now and I have like 200.000.000a in cash.
I know it's surpossed to be a clan investment but still it's a LOT of adena.
Exactly what I was telling you guys. It's not true 64 bits, 2.1 bil is the maximum representable number by an int (once again, signed), and that's the price of the most expensive buyiable/sellable thing in thing in the game.. And you also can't carry more than that in one char (you can put it in the WH though, and carry 2.1 bil more)..
Now, for the aden clanhalls costing 2.1 bil, that's an exploit some ppl use to avoid paying the maintenance fee.. They're not supposed to sell for that much.
