Well, the other day I was walking lacadasily in dragon valley enjoying the sun glazing on my face when I happen upon a few female dwarves.
Everytime I see female dwarves my mind flashes back to a bot dancing that stupid dance over my dead body or the little cute names people give them like 'wafflehugs' or 'pancakesuprise' that get on my nerves...and the pink haire ariaofefe but I digress.
They asked nicely for some buffs and I said I cannot buff you because I refuse to buff female dwarves out of principle. Well, this opened a whole can of worms which resulted in the dwarves telling me I am irl racist...
Anyway, do we have other L2 racists here? I hate female dwarves and by not buffing them I hope to exterminate their kind someday....someday.
Also, I will not buff anyone wearing bunny ears. Especially if they think its funny or whatever on a male.
Anyway, share your tale of racism because in Lineage 2, you're supposed to be racist against classes that betrayed your kind!
Reo, we all have hate in our hearts and I think we can grow if we learn to let it out. I dont necessarily hate the people behind the female dwarves I just hate their little dances and pink hair with party masks and such.
definitely. Im with you 100% on male characters wearing bunny ears. For some reason, its especially irritating on human males for whatever reason
also, whenever im out hunting and I see a dark elf running toward me I automatically prepare to myself and get on the offensive. This is especially the case if its a dagger user. considering the fact, that the only times I get flagged on it is usually a dark elf that does so.
dwarfs, I tend to ignore. I look at them like the scavengers of the land, or like a parasite more or less.
but ..racist is a harsh word. I tend to think of it as learning from past experiences
hmmm on that note Jute, I won't buff people who say 'buffs plz' if they dont have time to ask politely or spell out please I am not going to waste my time buffing them. I always buff for creative requests or for people with lil pets...I do love mah lil wolfies too pannycakes and waffles o u r my favorite doggahs
What ticks me off the most is when people ask for buffs and Im out of mana. Chat normally goes liek this:
-> Im hunting with 3 other people ina group, buffing them and often 1-2 other people hunting around us. I feal bad seeing poor male dwarves hunt without buffs, knowing they are crafters trying to get a few levels but no one wants them, so I buff them. Then this nuker comes along.....

Buffing other people you are not xping with should be considered a Gift. It should not be expected. I personally never gotten that shrimp I get something compelty different.

On a more serious note, I do not see, how racism towards a virtual group got anything to do with real world racism.
I do not care, what color the skin of the player of an elf is. I do not care, what religion that player has. I do not care, where he comes from. I do not care, if they are female or not and I do not care, if they are handicapped or not. I consequently hate all elves and I will happily dance on every elves grave. I do make a few exceptions though, as Mistryl tends to appear as a Elven Muse and it would not look good, if I would use my Axe on her.

Well I tried to explain to them how many races in L2 already have a natural story line based hate for other races but they werent having it...they just mad because no buffs lol.
I almost pity elves. The males have probably the worst hair styles in the game as well as the worst armor models of all time. Man I just saw one in blue wolf robes the other day, HILARIOUSLY pathetic.

"Oh ok, I understand your out of mana, can you spare just empower or acumen?" Then I would of been glad to give them to him.... but when people come out with a b****y attitude as soon as they dont get what they want, I dont quite feel like helping them... ever.

I too, when I see a DE running towards me, I switch my bar to my "pvp bar" and target him way before he gets anywhere close to me. Male dwarves I dotn have anything against, female dwarves MUST be up to something no good ^_^ lol (sorry Dela I still <3 U)
I have several classes I played as my main but you better believe my main main that I always come back to is a blade dancer :). I couldnt really grief even if I wanted to lol...besides...thats what the perma red 55 sps is for mwuhahhaha

well except my d0rf, all my characters are females. i guess my reason is that if i'm to look at my toons' behind for hours and hours, i'd rather have it of the opp. gender. but my female toons dont do bad things, they are goody 2 shoes (evil grin).

Cool with me. I have my own buffer anyway. Plus, I recently switched from wearing bunny ears to a pink mask.
However, I will buff anyone who asks politely unless they have a name I cannot pronounce. That includes people with names surrounded by x's or o's or strange capitalization. If I cannot pronounce it or it's too hard to read because every other letter is capitalized, pound sand farmer.
Edit: Oh, add to that any name or title I personally find offensive or just in bad taste.
Edit: And add anyone with a variant of Drizzt or Legolas. You're stupid and you deserve no buffs.

Besides, eye patches seem to be a dime a dozen.

I'm not an L2 racist as such but I have noticed instances of it.
1) A hi level archer (any race) running in my direction makes me instantly assume they are there to PK me unless I'm on my Orc - which in itself is silly, she wouldn't stand a chance!!!
2) If my b/f sells something on his Necro or SE and it won't sell, I use my male Dwarf - it sells no problem
I've no real problem with any class but for some reason female elf mystics of any type irritate me - no idea why, usually the person controlling them is really nice :eek:

my male dorf seems to be really into dark elf females, but not dwarf females. i think he'd settle for a light elf female once in a while. on my female orc, i hate anyone that can run faster than me. young orcs on my server are pretty much the only strangers i help get equipment, because i want more high-level orcs on my server. does this make me a member of the green party? orcs are teh hawtest ^^
Hmmm....For some reason I usually kill the dwarves I run into just because I figure they're bots. I don't just randomly kill them I try talking first...If they don't talk back well....I would figure that wouldn't make me a racist

well i figure my dwarf is already ugly so I try to mismatch his armor as much as possible and make his hair and face as ugly as I possibly can....may as well be good at what he does!

Gasp, no fair. My female Orc monk on the PTS looks awesome with bunny ears ^^ It's like a revelation. Bunny ears on human female mystics = bleh. Bunny ears on female orc fighters = awesome :D
I hate female elves though, grrr they act so inocent and the look so pretty in al those robes (except in Zubei, yeah got that on you haven't I ). At least I can laugh at their heavy armor user counterparts, with their stupid spiky skirts and American football shoulders muhahaha.
DE males are always evil.
Elven males are either sly spies conspiring with above or valient knights who save you all the time, though I guess that last bit is coloured by my boyfriend being one :P.
Both male orc and human fighters are either cool and heroic or very stupid and dumb.
I somehow hate all other female human mystics, particularly the ones with the same hairstyle because I'm ofcourse their trying to best me and I wanna elbow them in the face :P.
Dwarves also have two sides, male ones are either bots or nice old Scottish/pirate/santa grandpa. Female ones either sly little scamming thieves or cute little girlies ^^.
I always turn to pvp mode when I see any dagger or archer, whatever race. That's just that mage spidy sense, you can never stamp that out.
Ofcourse everyone who asks politely get buffs from my cleric, I also love running around town WW2 ing everyone.

amazing how many people are completely ignorant of what OL/WC do, and how they do it.
More often than not, I ask if people want to swap buffs (although I rudely pimp out any possible buffer - including my cubics - in our party during such trades) - i.e.
"Hey, would you like to swap VR/Haste/Might for aqua cubics? :)" is so much nicer than "buffs plz".
grr I can't stand the "buff" people. Not even a please, or can-I-have. Just "buff" or "baff".
When I played my dwarf, people would walk up to me and go "sit". Nothing else. What they meant was that they wanted SS or SS craft. God forbid should I charge more than 1a each click. "rofl bye..."
Last night I was out hunting. When a dwarf runs up to me and says "GIVE ME SCROLL!..SCAPE!!" I asked him if he thought he was a bit short to be mouthing off like that. Well he didnt respond. I thought about dropping him just because of how rude he was. But then I thought about how long it took me to turn white and how many levels were lost. I threw a SOE on the ground and went on my way. I cant say theres a certain race I dont like. But people that are jack [censored] for no reason. I dont like them. I had to look at my pk count and remind myself not to kill him. But people that are jack [censored] because I deserve it or they dont like the clan Im in. Dont mind them so much.
LOL speaking of people and the way they ask for buffs. I was in a small clan party and we were hunting on TOI floor one. This TH comes up and stands there next to us as we pull mobs from a room, after a while he says Buffs plz. So being the nice guy our clan Bishop is he starts buffing the guy even while we are in the middle of working on a mob. Just as we are almost done with the mob, and the bishop is nearly through buffing him, he hits the mob trying to KS it on us!

Never seen a "professional" orc bot (aside from the odd warcryer in trains). But I've seen real players bot orcs. It makes me sad :( Orc is my favourite race.
I know I'm not raciest.. but I do practice caution.. why.. because everytime I get going and start wasting a whole weekend away of lvling myself up and what not.. I got idiots comming up to me when I'm just minding my own business not wanting to be bothered, come up and attack me for no reason.. first thing that comes to my mind is why attack someone who wont attack back.. I'm sorry people but I don't PVP, I've never done PVP and I never will.. so for all those who love to PVP in this game, if it makes you feel big by jacking off while killing an innocent person than more power to you.. but it doesn't make me a raciest.. hell I'll team up with anyone except bot's.. what I wouldn't do to see their entire race just die off in a blink of an eye, I hate bots they do nothing but take over the Economic structure of the entire game and makes it a really bad place to come. So no I'm not raciest in the game nor out side of the game but I will do hate those that are..

I do not buff to people who use smileys or cute emoticons in their request. I do not buff people who squint or talk funny. i have. only seen orc bots once, but it was the scariest experience ive ever had playing L2. i was soloing in witches (playing an orc) and had brought a couple mobs to the hall becasue of a bad pull. i guess one of the mobs was in the bot range so they all targeted it...every single one of these bots looked EXACTLY like my character, except they were in C grade, and they were all around me so i couldnt move, grunting EXACTLY like me but not using ss. it reminded me of that scene in star wars where luke goes into the tunnel and finds himself, but evil and x9. i put frenzy and anger on and KSed the whole party. for weeks after that i was seething and ranting about how bot lords had crossed some sort of moral line by using proud and noble orcs in their evil schemes.
edit: oh and on teon there used to be a bunch of orc bots killing kasha bears and maraku werewolf chieftans, far as the eye could see.

Never seen one on Gustin as yet (although SirE has kindly offered to do a search for me). However after reading that account I'm not sure I want too - I wouldn't sleep for weeks!!!! The thought of seeing identical female orcs just like me. fighting like me, sounding like me but obviously one of the "other" type of players ........
