Seems like a lot of L2 players have problems remembering their birthday. I try to celebrate my birthday the same day every year. Makes it easier to remember.
There is a script you can run, you only need to know your account name and he get your bday.
As u can see, NCSoft do her best to make our account info safe.

As a corporation, NCSoft NA has to be very careful with subscriber information. Should they be found guilty of willfully putting our information at risk, I am more than certain the company would no longer exist, at least on American shores.
And while I do question some of the finer points of their business practices, economic suicide is not one of them.
So, conspiracy theorists of the internet unite... and go walk off a cliff somewhere.

Actually ppl like you make me laugh too.
Do a search on Brute Force in say wikipedia.
Then come back and tell us what you found.
Don't forget that a birthday is only 365(or 366 but rarely) possibilities. A brute force may send a request per second. That's 6 mins to get your birthday from your account.
But I did laugh several times at the ppl trying to twist answers and provide legitimate reasons to forget the birthday they used.
Some people used fake birthdays to protect their accounts from real life not-friends. That's pretty much the only reason I guess, but yeah, as pointed out - brute forcing it is so bloody easy, why would anyone bother not taking the real one?

Actually its upwards to 20k different combos ^^ Sending 365 requests would only be for 1 year ^^
12*31*56
12 different months
31 different days (on average)
56 years between 1950 and 2006(so 56 different years to choose from)
and if people are using fake information....well...they might as well do the combo from 1950 to 2006 ^_^ (which is why it can be up to 20k) Making your space larger never hurt....
probably would take 6 hours ish :P
20k/60sec = 333 mins.
333/60mins = 5.55 hours ^^
(this is an estimate for your request a second ^^)
Did I mention I like math?

I knew someone who did this. They entered in a fake birthday and the account owner didn't remeber it.
She got herself and 6 clanies just clicking that button on the website going threw all the combos.
The 7 of them took 4 hours to find the right birthday
I just don't understand that sort of mentality. <shrug> I guess those who are hiding information don't understand how one can be so free with it, either.
The problem now days is how easily the information is coordinated and what that gives a potential malfeasant. If someone knows my birthday, they have one very vital piece of information they can use to access my money.
You can find an incredible amount of information about an individual on the web. Even though previously most of the same information was available, it was in bits and pieces which took some effort to actually access. Now, with the wonders of the Internet they constantly chip away at your personal information.

Who really gives a crap, add a secret question on there with your birthday....added protection and it doesn't matter if someone knows your birthday :O. Oh and dj_shonen, i want your avatar!!!!

LOL
LOL, n00b.
I try to celebrate your birthday every day. Thing is, it could be the day you die...
A good trick if you don't want to give out your birthday is create a system for games. One I never use is look at the generation number of the game. Lineage2 is 2 so I upshift all dates by two. Month+2 and if over 12 then start back in Jan. Day +2. Year +2. Your real birthday for safety purposes is still protected and you can remember it easily.
I only give out this method because I don't use it for L2 but it might help others in the future.
