2 weeks ago i finished my class change and became a Spellsinger. I thought this would be a good class to take since i love to nuke and be good at pvp. Well ever since then i havent enjoyed the class. Its exactly the same as the elven wizard. Now theres nothing wrong with that but ive became quite bored of the down time etc...
So anyway, im looking for a new class to play. Preferably something fun, that looks cool and is a beast in PvE and PvP. I hate archers and i want to stay away from Nuker types. Tanks dont deal enough damage.
Id like your views please :D
You could try a destroyer, but you need to be fairly high and rich to unlock all the cool stuff.
You eliminated a bunch of classes, the only ones left that can be considered DD's in pvp would be daggers, bd's, sws', and gladis I think.
Fun classes? Maybe try a polearm class - a destroyer for flexibility, a bounty hunter for the little bathump when a mob goes blue, or a WS/WL for ... uhh... Tarun can answer that.
Daggers are according to some that play them also fun.
A meleeing healer class is always complex to play and very fun, but you will have trouble getting into groups - you'll need to know a few people who appreciate the extra DD.
i have played many many classes and i always come back to bladedancer...dont know why...guess they are always needed and do some of the best melee damage out there.
well I guess thats your opinion...I didnt like my sr, sps, hawkeye, glad I guess I like being a buffer who can pve pretty well to and can solo or party as I see fit.

If I had quit every toon at 40 because it wasn't quite what I excepted I wouldn't have continued by Glad, AW, PP or SE. 40 skills are not a good indication of how "fun" a toon is.
Admittedly, my AW was fun almost since the beginning.
warsmith is (in my opnion) one of the most entertaining classes...we just sit back and controll the market and make every thing we need at a fraction of the cost..and the fact that i can OFF tank with a blunt and pole party people in a cata/necro makes life just that much more entertaining. :)
Yeah, upon hitting 40 you still don't have a good indication of how fun a class is going to be in the late game. Most of the player base considers you to still be a newbie at 60 even.
Probably BD, Destro or a battle healer - but to PvP with a battle healer, you'll need to quit your carreer as a battle healer eventually, exchange tats and buy robes & a mage weapon.
Not everyone enjoys their toon the same way - I played Faelir just because he looked so fine, I stopped playing Maline becaues I couldn't deal with her swept-up hair. On the other hand, I'd definitely play a BD or AW despite the looks, just because it sounds fun.
A toon should be an extension of ones self.... Thats how i look at it. If a persons only view is they want to play an elite character they will get tired of it.

my Spellsinger got fun when i hit b grade. its great for pvp. but due too know BTM mana down time is a [censored]... about another class Daggers are really fun to play and are really powerful in c5.. gl
SpS is a lot more fun grouped up. Solo my GF has downtime, but grouped up with my PS tanking, she can crowd control and let off nukes casually.
Due to a more relaxed use of mana and using mana regen skill each round, she doesn't get long periods of downtime, and the kill speed/XP gain with her in party is a tremendous help.
Before rerolling try finding a regular hunting group, and make use of that sleeping cloud before it gets nerfed!

I'm with you Splatter. I really can't play anything else other than a Dark Elf.
I also agree with splatter and sovrath I've liked Human class from the beginning and I haven't had any problems deciding...find a group you like then the char will take care of itself.
My old japanese teacher used to say, that the reason why Geisha's wear their hair up is because japanese men like the sight of a naked neck from behind O.o

If orcs look cool to you, then Warcryer or Tyrant.
But, frankly, Spellsingers are much more fun. If they are played right. :)
i see where you are coming from but theres no class in this game that feels like me. Ive already felt around this issue.
Preferably a char with as little down time as possible. Nothing worse then getting in to the hang of things for 10-15 mins and then having to stop because your chars out of petrol.
So destroyer, Bd or AW. Which of these have minimum downtime.

I think you 'll find the grind is hard on any character you pick and that we all play a variety of toons. I say just don't delete them, cause I always find my way back to one of my seven. Even the red one is fun at times!
