What I hate about being a caster....

FREAKING SPELLBOOKS I CANNOT GET!

I am putting up offers of 1 million per spellbook and getting nowhere!

Transfer Pain, Aqua Cubic, Empower Servitor, Unicorn Merrow (YEAH GOOD LUCK!) they are IMPOSSIBLE to get! To farm them is possible but nobody is around to do it!

Anyone ELSE have this problem?

I bought all mine when the time came. Tried farming Shadow Flare when the spell was introduced but the mobs were too low for me.

When I hit 40 I tried to get Hurricaine for a whole week. Ended up buying it.

Why would someone go farm SBs for a rare class?

Yes some of those summoner books are ridiculously hard to get. Like the books on the 2nd level of Cruma, and the ones that only drop from catacomb mobs that are buried deep inside the cats.

Level 48, be prepared to go to worshippers necro solo or duo and spending a good few hours there. Use bot rooms to ur advantage, if you get too much aggro, run to the bots and train them. Ask the bots for books too, u might get lucky.

Transfer pain is pretty easy to get, hunt the giant mushies in sea of spores.

Aqua cubic you can get from the hatu winsus, not too hard either, just be careful of mass aggro.

Mass cubics, you can solo the tanor canyon groups with hydro-screw AOE + flame strike at 48, since they're still green to you.

2nd level of cruma ... find a group, those mobs like to aggro you instead of your summon :(

No need for a group for cruma 2 - you just gotta find the right room and ninja there. If you're on Devianne I'll bring you.

I got all my books from my clan and from spending COUNTLESS hours huntin in EV. Do you know how ******ed it is to make SpS books drop in a place where most the mobs resist water...lol...

Solar Flare was a bugger. Hunted zaken's pikemen forever...drop rate increadably low. So I bummed one off the alliance WH.

Mainly if you want books, you have to be in a large clan or alliance. LOL, our clan WH is practically just SB. Anytime we recruit a new player we can pretty much deck them out in SB till 62. Even a temple knight...lol...we have everything.

So if u are in a clan, ask around...if not.... =/ I dunno...spam shout in giran or something...

Being a summoner really does SUCK. Rare class? God it's a really fun class but everyone plays nukers.

I am lev 52...ish... (deleveled to 51 how many times now? 4? 5? God can't keep track.)

But all in all it's quite bearable if you start early. ;)

I looked up all the SBs that I would need for my SH sub before I finishd the lvl75 quest. I was THAT excited! :) Anyway, I then hunted in the areas, or bought the books cheap.

I spent 30 hours trying to get the book for spark cubic. 30 hours.

O_o I got my spark cubic book (if that's the one that drops off a group mob) on like the 2nd or 3rd group that i killed. Now, soulless on the other hand on that lvl 40 group mob was a pain (before he was moved to 2nd floor cruma)

Transfer pain sb are common drops from one of the mobs in sos. I levelled there for about 2 levels and got 5 or 6 of them drop. Although you might be too high level now.

Well seriously man, even tho we try to reserve all our books for clan members, I could see what I can do. What is your in game name, I will try to get some for you if I can. I dunno about the merrow one...but yea...you can pm me on the forums or just tell me your in game name and I will try to help ya out.

Oh yes, and also serious...if you do want a clan, we would like to have ya. We just kick back, you know whatever...lol.

I know I farmed those... the others I think I bought. It is that hard... hell the old prima guide is what i used for a drop list for most of them. :o

also I got enough other spell books to make a good chunck of change.

I have a drop list for spellbooks on my site. I've farmed as many of them as I can to verify the drops, including those you have listed.

Are you just not able to do the farming yourself because of lack of help or something else? Some of them take patience, but I have so many of the summoner ones it's amazing...

You should try getting the Binding cubic SB.

Heh, same here, for my amulets. I don't think I had to buy a single one :)
I brought some clannies to help me with chant of revenge in TOI.

Ooh I remember when our ES farmed for those books with me, spending night after night with those group mobs at the beach and on second floor cruma. We had some fun, 'cause noone ever hunts at those places - it made for a bit of change for a while, yay ^^

when i was going for the new necro summon book. I farmed 4+ hours with no book drop. The next day i went back and got 5 in 40 minutes.

Actually, I remember back in the day going to Cruma 2nd floor with you and getting those books pretty quick. Must have taken under two hours. Maybe it was just luck, dunno.

yep, i got probably 30 transfer pain books..I dont even want to waste time selling them or taking the wh space so they usually go right to npc shop lmao

Got that one in 20 minutes, took another 20 mins for the spark cubic SB that i was looking for to drop.

Exactly. Wishing Potion quest will give you 3 SBs or Amulets at a time. Wish for Wisdom. Before Heart of Paagrio became more common I must have done the Wishing Potion quest 30 times to get it. Acquired TONS of SBs and Amulets while doing it.
