I made the mistake of smacking a blue raid creature and I've been cursed for the past 3 days on PTS. The curse prevents me from crafting or using skills, so I'm pretty much at a standstill until the curse is lifted.
Wierd. Sounds like a glitch. When I do this with a toon on retail I get para'd for two minutes for melee, silenced for ~5 for magic attack, and silenced till death for buffing in a group that's not outside the lvl range.

How long does this "temporary" spell last?
Did you try going down the the moster track and letting someone kill you to see if it goes away after you die?
I've heard it has a duration of 8 hours. That's 8 hours in-game mind you, if you log out, it freezes the timer. But its only rumor. Either way, its a very, very long time. Go to the arena and die.
Ive have the silence curse wear off in about an hr the PZ curse bout 5 mins, go go my stupidity in detrying dark blue mobs without looking at the name first :(
