OMG!!!! can anyone help?

ok the problem is... my son has a toon with karma of 360K not sure how that happen..but the prpblem is... he was using my duels.. .well our duels raid spirt ,,, and was frieghting them to the toon they belong to and he accidently frighted them to the toon with all that karma.. perma red.. any ideas how we can get either duals back or toon red gone...or both.. we in a big pickle here.. please help.... thanks

He can either go and kill mobs (instead of pking everything in sight like he has been doing) or die a lot and delevl most likely. Of course with that much karma going out and trying to grind it all off is likely to get him ganked anyhow. Whatever you do don't post his toons name and what server your on lol. People will start looking for him to try and help him "wash" off all that red.

A karma from 360k??? ouch u will be VERY busy with killing mobs to get washed clean again.... but i think its a better thing then Delvl...maybe takes longer but u dont loose exp....well and u might loose stuff with getting killed via delvl...! ! ! Sure when u have a trusty friend he may help u... and when u drop its not a problem but i woudt prefer killing mobs...! !! Btw :) I was never red ...OK good luck, choose the way u prefer

10-20 you can kill off from hunting, 360k will take months to do...so you better drop all your gear in Floran and keep on walking into some aggro mobs around the town. I think it's the only way worth doing really. But he will lose more then 2-3 lvls I think.

Get a good, fast rezzer like an EE or Bishop with fast cast (for shorter rez reuse) and visit a town guard naked. Poke the guard and be rezzed, rince and repeat... I've seen a friend fix 1mil karma that way in a day or two I think it was, so it's possible, but yes, a lot of exp will still be lost.

But to answer your question.... He's going to have to die and delevel ALOT to wash himself. And after this i hope he learned his lesson.

Can I also mention that even if he gets rid of all his Karma he will need to get rid of his (I presume) hi PK count otherwise he still stands a chance to drop weapons and armor in the correct circumstances.

This is the Sin Eater quest which he can get from the witch at Hardins Academy or borrow a Sin Eater if you know anyone who has one. It also means that his xp will not go up until the quest is complete as it is the Sin Eater that takes the XP to remove your PK count.

Do NOT assume a million guard deaths will take that karma away. I went from 26 to 2 and still had half of the karma (8k). The kill guard get rezzed thing will work. i dont have the time or good friends to be able to do that, so my red toon with accidentally freighted gear has about 1 more day sittin on his butt till POOF.

here is the easiest way (assuming u got a few accounts)

create a fighter and lvl it to lvl 10 and create a clan. Create 14 other lvl 1's to fill the clan with. Have that clan declare war on the clan ur son is in. Son's clan declares back. Suddenly u have full karma loss at 1% loss each time.

lose about 1K karma per death, thats 360% no rezes. get a 60% or higher rezer and ur good to go

And the clan has to be level 3.

Given how naughty your son must have been to get that much karma, you ought to make him delvl and have it be a lesson in right and wrong.

Why does everyone assume a naughty son? He could have just been killing bots that were bugging ppl.

The thing is.... I did that to one of them once, then i realized it's of just no good. It's like beating your fist against the wall, in time your only hurting your fist.....

I did that once - but delevel to a certain level and you will hardly lose any karma per death. It is better to hunt on blue/green monsters in an isolated location.

I believe that all the gear on a deleted toon is deleted as well, including the stuff in freight. You might want to re-evaluate that plan if it depends on the freighted gear re-appearing in your warehouse.

Stand that toon up, get him some cheap gear and level up a bit. Then dieing will remove appreciable karma again. 8000 karma isn't hard to work off either, just keep killing.

I'm not so sure this clan war thing will work? As far as I know, you lose less karma from a 1% death, than you do from a 4% death.

Something that is more rewarding and can prevent accidents like this is creating a healer. Force buff and heal the monsters they are attacking. When their health potions run out, you can joyfully pick up a helmet, stack of animal bones, or whatever else they may drop upon death.
