Can a shield block a skill? Like the skill Stun Shot from archers. Or, by default, it passes the shield?
If the shield can block a skill, it cancel the effect of that skill? You still can get stuned by a shield blocked Stun Shot?
With shield you can only block phisical attacks, you can block them partly or do the exellent shield block. You can't block skills, you can't dodge them aswell. The only thing which prevents you against being stunned is some buffs (like resist stun or lionheart for gladiators) and your CON (the higher the better)
As for magical spells, your m.def is the main and only defense. Bigger defense grants a chance to ressist spells more often, or reduse their damage.
You can block the damage of the skill in C4 but not its affect as far as I know. Yes tss can be blocked or even crit blocked. Happend alot to me
Didn't they change it in C5?
this is how i understand it
if someone shield blocks a skill it has a lower chance of landing
if someone excellent blocks a skill (it hits for 1 damage) the skill will not work
in C5 all dwarf skills ignore shields
as far as i know no other class gets that, however gladiators and destro have the same stun as us so im not sure if the same applies to them
