i feel like a noob asking this, but since majority of my toons are melee i need some info on this. i guess bdsps are more stronger than dsps, and why is it that people rarely sell dsps? i ask this as i crafted about 3500 dsps yesterday, but then i realized that i was the only one in three separate towns in hindemith (gludio, gludin, dion) selling these while everyone else was selling dbsps. also, can i please get the average selling price for a dsps?
spiritshots do half the effect of a blessed spiritshot. that means you spend up to 100% more mp to get the same xp.
SpS doubles Matk so damage is 1.4X base damage
BSpS quadruples Matk so damage is 2X base damage
Additionally, both SpS and BSpS reduce cast time on spells. BSpS reduces cast time more than SpS. I haven't bothered to compute exact times but it is something like:
Cast time with SpS is 70% base cast time
Cast time with BSpS is 60% base cast time
You may be stuck with all those SpS. I would suggest selling them at close to your cost to move them fast then switch to crafting blessed shots. Sometimes WC and OL will use them for their debuffs and DoTs since they don't benefit from the damage boost and 2X Matk is often enough to get the spells to stick on mobs.

interesting - in that case i'll just use them myself and then start crafting bdsps.

Those are good prices. I used to sell at 22a, but taxes and crystals have gone up since then. (And that is where the co-ordinates put her Biotox, with the capital city of Male not far away. ("Maa lay" I think, not "May Ell" so no jokes please))
I went throgh d-grade with using sps. Much cheaper and killing mobs didnt eat up all my money. Still graving for c-grade spiritshots, but ohwell.... noone thinks they're useful >_<
I bought them for 22-24 usually or crafted myself for like 20a each. Try selling them in dion.. im sure there are more ppl using spiritshots.
I'll tell you this. I levelled from from 19 until 40 only using Sps (Blessed were not in the game when I started and I didn't even know about shots until lvl 18).
However, I found that it was to difficult to level beyond 40 using SPS.
