I have this Dark Screamer +8 with no SA on.
I tried to OE it to +9 and I succeded :)
If I now put on a SA-Focus, can I then exchange the DS to lets say a Homu.sword at Mammon later without loosing the +9?
I'm asking because I was thinking about testing the DS+9+SA-Focus with my dwarf to see how he would kill with that.
Then Later I will make an even exchange to a Homu.sword.+9
What when Mammon removes SA does he then also remove +9 ?
Don't worry about +9 as far as you don't upgrade weapon to higher level of crystal price.
You won't lose ++ on SA removal, you won't lose ++ on even exchange.
That is, you can set SA for now, then remove it for free with help of the Blacksmith, then make even exchange to +9 Homonkulus's sword. All you'll lose is money and crystal for SA and money to apply SA (as you probably know, Sa removal won't give you Soul crystal back).
What Jute said. Mammon won't even "see" a weapon that has an SA applied. Also, because he's a scammer, you must first "take down your weapon" before he'll see it. ;) (i.e, it must be unequipped).
Rules of thumb:
- Even exchange of weapons (crystal value) are free and retain enchantments.
- Weapon upgrades (up to top C) cost AA and lose enchantments. You do not receive a discount for enchanted weapons.
- Only duals may be exchanged/upgraded for duals. Duals may only be exchanged for other duals.
- Demon Fangs may not be upgraded or exchanged.
- Weapon may not have an SA applied.
- Weapon must be unequipped.
