A friend's problem...

Ok folks, I know there have been myriad posts about this, but I gotta help a friend out.

After the emergency downtime that they recently had, alot of people had trouble getting into their accounts. I understand the need for account security, and I appreciate the fact that most people seem to have gotten their accounts back.

One of my friends and alliance members, however, has had NO success getting his account back. He (2 years ago) gave a random birthday instead of his own. In understand that this was a mistake, and so does he. However, in his recent dealings with NC customer support, he has given the correct playNC account name and password, the correct username and password for the game, and the credit card # linked to the account.

Even though all the information he provided was correct, NC has still not given his account back. They have asked for the original (ie from 2 years ago) confirmation email. Now, I dont know about some of you meticulous record keepers, but I think that most people would not be able to provide that email confirmation.

Now, I'm sure customer support is very busy and has alot of things to do and not many people to do it. However, they have been neither helpful nor porfessional in their dealings with my friend. Just because someone found a glitch in the game, my friend has been locked out of his account and is being treated like a criminal. His account represents money invested into NC, and time invested into the game.

Any players that have any idea how I can help my friend out, please let me know. I know that this post will probably not get an official response, but I would sincerely appreciate any actions or effort on my friend's behalf.
There is nothing anyone on the forums can do. He needs to talk to support.
Yes, I got that. So does he. He's been in touch with Support via email and phone since he got locked out. I understand that no one on the forums can help, however it just might be that some players had the same problem and found a way to solve it. Thats what I'm looking for.
If it's just the birthdate - try 'em all. No limit on the attempts you can make.
Brute-force your way into the birthdate if hes sure he still knows the secret question. Either use a webserver to do sequential requests (VERY easy to write in PHP) or ask many friends and assign them a group of years to try.
