i was wondering what anyone thinks is the best gear & tats for a lvl 40 gladiator. thank you!
+5 STR -5 CON
Full Plate, Focus duals
I use(d)
+4 STR -4 CON
+4 DEX -4 CON
+8 Spirit Sword * Raid Sword
Full Plate Set.

And it works quite well.... only downside is that you get stunned quite often.
i made it to lvl 49 so far with +0 top C duals FP Armor & Helm.
don't bother with FP gloves or boots, they are way over priced and not worth it. get the C and D crystals and get the best you can buy in the crystal store in giran. but if you can't afford FP & top C weaps (wouldnt blame you) my DA lvled fine in comp armor. not even complete set.
also, i don't use tatoos lol but if you have the $$ go for +str and -con
Get help, shoot for the best but don't lose sleep over it, be patient and smart. GL
thanks for the info guys!
if you have an SE of your own or a healer I would get plated leather for the +4 str.
I have a PP+SE lvl60 for buff oop, and I'm doing GC to lvl SA crystals.

My Glad chops through the mobs with ease. He can even solo the Beast lord and his 4 minions, the only downside is that it takes a lot of healing from the SE.

I can make like 2 SA crystals lvl 7 in 1-1,5 hour = 1,2kk income :)
+4 str -4con and Plated Leather set. It will put you right at +8str -5 con with the set bonus. You can use crit duals and + the dex to get more out of the crit. Or get haste duals cause atk speed isnt all that great :P
Didnt want to kill to much of my health. In A grade and im still using the +4-4....thats about it really, you can +dex if you want but the HP loss will be quite noticeable.

o_O

Am I the only one who finds this weird?
hmmmm.... it's not wiered, all I do is that I use my Glad. + PP on my main PC.
On my second PC I have the SE with the following macro assigned to the F1 key:

00 /target [gladiator]
01 /Greater Heal
02 /delay 2
03 /Greater Heal
04 /delay 2
05 /Greater Heal
06 /delay 2
07 /Greater Heal
08 /delay 2
09 /Greater Heal
10 /delay 2
11 /Greater Heal

All I do is that I pull the Beast Lord (not attacking it - it's aggro) back to the bridge where I can work it free of any other mobs.
Then I start using my War Cry (boost P.Atk.), then a TSS then a TS and the Beast Lord is almost killed at once. Then there is "only" the 4 minions left..... and it's only the Beast Lord that can stun my Glad.
At the same time(right after the fist swingon the Beast Lord) I hit F1 on my other PC and thus starting the automatic healing process.
I also use the following F1 macro for my Glad :
00 /next target
01 /attack

so I don't have to manually target anything.

Yes I know, it can look kind a wiered, but basicly the right setup between the computers and with the right macros, a lot of otherwice desperet situations can be pretty easy :)

Am I the only one that uses macros and dual-boxing this way??
Well, as I'm no fan of dual-boxing, I wouldn't know.

But I thought calling this "solo" was kinda funny.
ahhhh, hehe ok :)

Yes you are compleatly right..... It's not SOLO like so, it's more like SOLO XP vice, because I have my PP+SE out of party (oop).

Sry I wasted your time, answering the wrong part of your reply ;)
