Prophet Equipment

Hello!

I am making a Prophet, and I need some help. Read carefully what I want to do with this character.

1. I want him to be able to buff a couple other people. I have two friends that I play with and thats pretty much all I have to worry about now with buffing.

2. I want him to be able to fight stuff alongside my friends. I dont want to be stuck sitting in the back being bored.

3. I dont want people to tell me anything about "bad in PVP" or, "Prophet is only a buffer" because I dont care. There has got to be a way to make this buffer at least able to do some damage in PVE, and if I have to, PVP with my friends.

Okay, suggestions?
Well for C grade - I was wearing Karmian Set, with +5 C duals. And for B grade I am changing between wearing BW heavy set and Avadon set, with +7 B duals.

This equipment let me have enough mp for buffing 2-3 ppls and gives me enough mp for heals etc. I normally plays with 2 of my closest friends (rl aswell) and I like the result. I can dish out very nice damage - while keeping them buffed and healed for good.

A little trick when your buffing multiple ppls is to buff them on different "times" such as buff your first group member now and then wait 3-4 mins to buff the next one and wait a few minutes to buff your self - that way you wont have to burn through your mp with buffing 3 ppls the same time.

I hope it helps you a bit - other vise let me know ;)
No offend, but if ya play ur 52+ Prophet in Heavy Armor for 2-3 ppl and if thats ur only playstyle, reroll now. I suggest BD, maybe SwS.

I understand that ppl say, hey, Prophet got light/Heavy masteries and all these nice buffs, ill make him battle prophet. I was the same in the beginning. But to be honest, that isnt working.

What i suggest here, is maybe just for ppl with money, but grab BW Robes, get a shield, get a Homu with Conversion and Health weapon (AoBA Health for example). As for dyes, +4wit -4 men and to safe some money, visit next Magicshop for +4con -5str and +4dex -5str. Conversion lets ya easyly Buff 9ppl and have enough MP for Heals/roots left, after buffing switch to AoBA and grab a greater heal.

Prophet is a support class, deal with it. Even with ++str and a bow, u just dont deal damage. But the DD will if ya handle him quick casted 450HP battle heals over. Thats ur role in PvP, survive as long as possible, heal the DDs, rez the dead (with +wit u do 25+%, for a clanwar death its fine) and root the bad if ya could (assist the nukers for canceled targets).

Since the conversion/health thing works pretty in excepted pvp, u need to be carefully with unexcepted pvp (since u switch weapons back at full mp for further regen).
I COMPLETLY dissagree with the previous poster.
PLease ignore what they said. He seems to be playing his prophet as a buff bot or did NOT carefully read your objectives.
Actually, yeah , he didnt read your objective since hes talking about buffing full parties. Ignore him please.

I was in the exact same situation your were with my Prophet. Playing with 2-3 friends, only buffing them, not concerned with pvp.

This is what I would recommend since you will not be tanking (you wont get agro often) if your playing with 2 other people. This in my opinion, the best eqip you could get, not too sure what you can afford though. But assuming thats not the problem:

1) After becomming a prophet I would HIGHLY suggest you invest in +4STR - 4CON tatoos. Also a +4 DEX - 4CON (only if you realise your missing too much, you want to hit slightly faster, and you dont tank.... ever)

C Grade:
PLated leather set (your looking for all the str you can get, and its +4 str is nice). Its light armor, but dont worry about getting the masteries. You will be short on SP and since C grade goes by fast, I would invest 1 level of it just to get the masteries. If you try soloing at those levels , Id suggest the Full PLate, its safer.
Weeapon:
Id suggest Berserker Sword with Focus. If I remember correctly the bonues Focus due to SA is higher on the Zerk sowrd than the raid*spirit. But no matter weapon you choose, get the Focus SA.

BGrade
BW Heavy (again you want the extra STR, but now since its heavy, you can tank on occasion). With my friends, I do take agro time to time, not a problem. You can even solo 10%/hr in late 50s.
Weeapon: +4 Tsu*Sls (or more) Again the focus SA is what you want. Kepp upgrading them to higher ++ as you go on. I will stick with tsu*sls until lvl 75 probably.

The last poster talks alot pvp too. Gosh... if you dont care too much about pvp, then ignore what he said. If your concerned about 1vs1 pvp. then with the setup I suggested you will be able to woop most peoples [censored], if your fully buffed. Ive tried it, Its doable.

Take my advice and you wont regret it. Ive been playing with my 2-3 firends with my prophet, and we are killer. I cant immagine out group without me doing ANY damage. Its just a big big waste. Hell they can even tell by how fast we are killing the mobs if Im usig SS or not.... without looking at me. Goes to show I do a good chuck of damage.

My Battle Prophet- Buffed as I would go hunting with 2 of my friends - 692 p.atck melle (http://ca.geocities.com/shrimpstoo/692pack.JPG)
Beet that - Prophets wacking is useless.... thats complete BS. And yes I have a pve setup... buts thats what the OP wants too

Ignore that too. I play my +52 Prophet with 2-3 people. Its great, loving it, dont regret it and will never regret it. A BD and SWS are NOTHING like Battle Prophets.

If you want other opinions, pm FrayedKNot in forums, hes chosen to go Battle Prophet too, but he solos alot more. Last time I checked, hes loving it too.

EDIT 2: Oh and when its time for buffs, do Invest in a cheap Devotion Set (NG). It gives you extra 15% cast speed and its robes. Set up 2 macros to switch between both sets. Its a realy realy cheap investement and it will make all the difference in your VERY slow cast speed in heavy/light armor. Id just let your firends know that while your buffing, they dont attack, or you will get the agro. Small iconvinience but works great.

Zerker has highest focus in-game

BW Heavy (again you want the extra STR, but now since its heavy, you can tank on occasion). With my friends,

if you get bw heavy, buy bw light main piece too. easy to switch between and if u find urself in a mid-sized group the extra regen will help

Yeah , didnt think of that one cause I wont get it.
Depends on how much mana you have after buffs to play with.
My problem is that I have to fully buff 4 fighters and I have just enough mana. Getting a -men is an inconveniance because I would have to buff in two sessions instead of one. Also , be sure to keep BtS up at ALL times on yourself.
However, it depends on your group.
If you have mana to spare after your buffs, then you can get the +wit - men.
If you have an SE in your group, he will do the healing and can recharhe. Oh and VR will seriously cut down on the healing.
If you have a WC, then go go VR! and as a prophet you wont have to heal to often. (Again depends on how much mana you have after buffs)

If you just want to cast faster at buffs and need all the mana you can get, see my edit #2. Get a devotion robe set for buffing.
Ignore everyones post right up till Shrimp's, she knows exactly what she's talking about, & is living/walking/talking proof of a true battle prophet at heart :)

I said right up till Shrimp, you posted after her, so your help was much appreciated.
Lol, thanks Tiffy ^_^

Oh, now that I remember, you know that hole A grade discussion. Well since the receipes are gonna be spoilable/drop in C5, me and my clan are gonna craft a few magestic/thallum/light DC sets. I guess Ill try em all out ^_^..... eventually.....when we get all the perices.... Still thing the Thalum heavy is gonna be better for pve.

Still thing the Thalum heavy is gonna be better for pve.

Personally why I went tallum is becuase its the best balance out of everything in C4. Tallum heavy best if you want to deal dmg and tallum robe is great if you want to buff. (tallum is the cheapest all around) so its easy to afford 2-3 sets of gloves/boots.

However in C5 I believe the best 1 armor set for a battle prophet would be majestic light for +8% p atk. However if you tank alot Majestic plate would prolly be best acc, p atk and stun resist.
Good luck with that & let me know how it works out :)
I will most likely go for magistic heavy.
What robe set are you using, if any?
Are you still using a bow, or have you made the switch to dagger or duals?

Magestic light +8% p.atck? Isnt it a Archery P. Atk. +8%? Or will they chnage that in C5?.

changed in C5 to +8% p atk, no weap requirment
What current tattoo's you guys have on your Prophets?
Is it better to go +4dex -4 con or +4 str - 4 con?
getting both would give me -8 con, not sure if that would be as wise? ;)
my battle prophet leveling schema

1-20 bronze with zweinheinder outside high level se buffs
20-40 brig or my special secret d grade armor anything with good pdef is good. My weapon of choice, claymore or duals. Either will do very well for damage.

40-52 Ahhh now the fun starts! My weapon of choice is top 2h c grade sword with focus or focus duals.
Plated leather set (+4str -1 con) really helps. Sadly it uses the same model as karmain so you look like every other ****** out there.
+4str -5 con (only because I am cheap and wont pay 7 mil for dye. These are about 500k total in dye shop giran)
+4 dex -5 con if you want. Not recommended because your carrying capacity goes down a fair amount.
Make sure to get your light armor masteries

52-61 This is up to you. There are a few options
Stick with Plated leather and get b grade duals or top b grade 2h weapon. You dont really get the aggro so PL would probably do you right.

Otherwise BW Heavy is the best option w/ the same weapon choices as before.

Now, if you want some extra damage it is best to get a wolf early on and level him with you. If you want a strider that is an option as well.

Prophets get heavy armor masteries for a reason, go get em tiger!

lol I love it, your awesome :) I don' think I'm going to stick with the +4dex -4con.. I think thats been one of my biggest problems with my Prophet lately. Quick question, do you know or have you tried which does more PVE/PVP damage? dagger/shield or duals.
oh thank you :)

no I am sorry, when pvp comes along usually I accept my role as a buffer and add the homu w/ conversion and karmian set :(.

oh thank you :)

Is that usually in mass or group pvping? I would always offer to do the same with my clan, but they don't usually need me for buffs, except the odd ones like zerk/acumen/BTS, that our SE doesn't have. So I get to be slatered, but happy in the frontlines with the melee classes lol :)
Wow, thanks guys. Didn't expect quite this much posotive feedback. ^^ Hopefully this all works out! :)

Question though, I'm going to be getting like, -8 or so con. Thats going to wreak havoc on my HP right?

Also, what does Wit do for me?

When I hit A grade, should I still use the BW or should I start using something else? I've heard Majestic Light is going to give like, +8% P.Atk soon to all classes.

As for weapons, its the same story. When I hit A grade is there anything better?

What if I hit S grade? Should I start using different weapons than? Draconic gives me +4% attack speed and p.atk, plus it gives me more MP, and +1 Str. Would that be better when I hit S grade?

And one final Question, what about level 20 - 40? :P
I am very sure that when in a party with a SwS and BD (my normal hunting party - the prophet tanks hehe) the prophet does more damage with a dagger/shield than duals. (+8 Tsu*Tsu vs +4 BO w/ focus)

Without the SwS+BD (soloing) he is less sure but still thinks the dagger is better. SS usage is noticeably higher when using a dagger - when solo adena vs. xp/time the dagger is probably bad especially changing BgSS to AgSS.

Because daggers have a higher base crit rate the focus buff and song of hunter add more than they do for duals (they are % buffs).
-8 con is fine for PVE (stunners are evil though). My prophet friend has -10 con counting the majestic heavy bonus. Majestic heavy is nice if you are using a dagger as accuracy is a problem for prophets (the good pdef helps with tanking too). I would switch out of BW at Ag because you don’t want the –dex from BW heavy.

+4 Wit makes it so you can use battle heal while fighting in heavy armor, even with acumen without +wit you cast so slow it is not nice.

20-40 go manticore and claymore/mithril dagger if you want to melee things. Using the dagger you need to stick to greens/whites to avoid missing a lot.

Do not worry/think about Sg, plenty of time after you are 70+. :p

Question though, I'm going to be getting like, -8 or so con. Thats going to wreak havoc on my HP right?

Yes. Thats why I only went +4str -4 con. Keep in mind though that Prophets have Bless the Body, which gives you extra hp so it isnt that bad. But as I said in other posts , you dont really NEED it. If your 100% you will never get agro form mobs then its an option, but I wont get that tatoo. If I do ever have to kick someones [censored], thats extra CON Id like to keep and not x-fer to DEX.
EDIT: Nvm, if I start missing too much, want to run slightly faster and want to hit faster, I might get the tatoo. If I have a few mil to spare on tats. I dont need it at the moment, but If I start missing to much its deffinatly an option. (for PVE)

Also, what does Wit do for me?

What it does for you:
+ Wit: Increases casting speed, increases your resurection %....
- Men: decreases your total mp, decreses mp regen rate, decreases m.def...
If you try casting in ligtht and heavy armor you will realise you cast ALOT slower than robes. Thats because robes give you a passive increase in casting speed. Wit will give you more.

When I hit A grade, should I still use the BW or should I start using something else? I've heard Majestic Light is going to give like, +8% P.Atk soon to all classes.

Thruthfully: No you dont NEED to get A grade if your not tanking nor involved in pvp. Though if you want to kick some annoying persons *** time to time, Id suggest investing in A grade. I still havnt gotten A grade, still in BW heavy . The great bonus with A grade is the resistance they add (mostly good for pvp) but sounds like A grade will be alot cheaper in C5 so I will wait for that before I buy/craft A grade. I havnt had time to calculate how much better the magestic light will be, but it looks like it will be the best (give me 1 hour and I will get back to you on that). You dont need to worry too much about getting A grade as soon as your lvl 61 since your probably not going to be the tank.

As for weapons, its the same story. When I hit A grade is there anything better?

PLainly : NO
Currently Over enchanted tsu*sls are way better than any A grade duals for Prophets. You want the Focus SA. However , I havnt checked, but if there is new A duals that have the focus SA on them, I can assume they will be "better". I say "better" because you wont need to have +7, +8. +9 tsu*sls to compensate for the increased p.actk. However keep in mind *** are very expensive compared to BSS. Thats why Im sticking with B grade tsu*sls (++ as mush as I can afford at the time)

What if I hit S grade? Should I start using different weapons than? Draconic gives me +4% attack speed and p.atk, plus it gives me more MP, and +1 Str. Would that be better when I hit S grade?

I havnt checked S grade yet....
BUT: Mystics will get a big accuracy nerf if they use bows or poles. I do not suggest uring bows for Prophets in C5 even if you get +dex tats for PVE. Bows are certanly a great option in pvp at the moment, but how it will be affected in C5 is yet to be seen.
As for other weapons in S grade I have no clue. Im far from that lvl so I havnt lookied into it yet. By that level you will proably want to pvp alot more, so you equip is gonna change alot. You should know what your doing by that time :) you dont need my advice for that.
Okay, thanks.

So when I use A grade than go for Majestic Heavy Armor?

What about A grade weapons? Dual Keshanberks look good because of the attack speed bonus.
No no, Curently Thallum Heavy is the best for A grade for Prophets.

You dont want the atck speed bonus if you have prophet buffs (since you are a prophet). You do more damage if you have the focus SA than increased atck speed. It varies from class to class, but prophets -> Focus > atck. speed for SA
OE Tsu*Sls is better than dual Kesh unless you are using tallum heavy to multiply the attack speed bonuses. OE Tsu*Sls is probably better anyway and a full speed Ag set is expensive to use.

I would use either an Ag dagger or OE Tsu*Sls at Ag. I like tallum heavy if using the duals and majestic heavy if using the dagger.

I agree with Shripstoo except the -hp from -4 con isn't a big deal at all - you can battle heal yourself and have BtB. The +4 dex helps DD and if you are pure PVE it is a good thing.

EDIT: The focus SA is better because you have the Death Wisper buff, each crit does a lot more damage than a normal hit.

EDIT: The focus SA is better because you have the Death Wisper buff, each crit does a lot more damage than a normal hit.

Yeah, thats why for prophets, Focus SA will always be better.

As for the A Grade Armor discussion.

MY RESULTS for prophets hitting A grade:
Thallum Heavy >>>>> all other A grade armor in terms of damage over time.

Magestic light: Even with its +8% p.ack, due to its lack of STS bonus, and no increase in attack speed (the +1 dex is laughable). it fall short of almost all other viable opftions for A grade armor. Even Magestic heavy gives a better damage over time. The only bonus from using Magestic Light is the extra MP and your casting speed isnt nerfed as much as heavy. However, if you just concenred with that max damage output and you just have to buff your two firends, then Id say forget Magestic Light.

The two top armors still remain: Thalum Heavy (best damage) and Magestic Heavy (just behind Thalum heavy)
Well, i listend to the OP and please dont just dont say "ignore him". Ive tried some setups and im NOT a stupid buffbot. Yes, the patk with duals is nice, maybe at lv60, but not 70+. Yes, the OP said 2-3 ppl parties, i talked about 9+ ppl, thats how it will goes, thats why i said he should reroll (WC is also a thought worse). On a siege/raid the best u can do is buff 3 parties without problems (i dont to go to Antharas with a 2000mp/450 castspeed prophet, sorry).

All i wanted to say is, that in the end, a prophet is a supporter, not a DD or anything else. A Prophet can be a tank. I tank nukers, without problems. Even without health SA i got HP+CP 7+k, with SwS 1.5+k mdef, equal nukers usually dont do me more than 700 damage.

At all, it depens on the playstyle. R u in a major alliance? I was, 16 2-way clan wars, PvP at last once a day. Go -8con if ya want, dont cry for ur %. Tell ur friends also. Lowbie PvE only battle prophet works, sure. But stop lvling then, else ull face high costs. And dont think to see any high dungeon from inside, FoG and IT with 4 ppl is not possible (well, at last u got no profit out of it).
So what you are saying is that when you are 70+ you cannot hunt with just two friends? If you are in an alliance and are having clan wars you don't want -8 con?

How is that relevant to a question about what gear to get if you want to play in a 3 person party while maximizing PvE damage?

That is why people said to ignore you, you are talking about situations the OP specifically said they didn't care about. :p
So theoreticly If I have Dual Kashen's with Tallum Plate than its better than the SlS+Tsu. The Kashens also get the attack speed bonus right? I mean they start out with having +4% Attack Speed boost at +4. Now, if they can get the Focus SA that would make them even faster right? The question is though can they get the Focus SA?
No, dual keshes get their SA of +8% attack speed at +4 - they will always and only have the +8% attack speed SA. Tsu*Sls is better because they get the focus SA at +4, but they need to be at least +6 to compare to keshes (Bg vs. Ag). The focus SA increases crit. rate not attack speed.

If you want an Ag weapon I suggest a bloody orchid with focus, but then you might want majestic heavy as it adds accuracy and daggers have low accuracy.

The tallum heavy would probably be better damage even with a dagger if you were fighting mobs you usually didn't miss but without +dex (or even with it) they would probably have to be green and it sucks to have to hunt too specifically.

Couldnt agree more, you said it better than I ever could. Ill just go ranting:

Well I will tell you how things work for me.
My group: Prophet, SE, BD and BH. We can clear 2 full rooms of cats/necs before the mobs have time to repsawn. We can do Rifts with only us 4 (and its really profitable). We always seed/spoil, use BSS and not ***. No matter were we hunt its always profitabe. XP is very decent, we often kill X3 X4 mobs faster than our dorf can spoil/sweep. I say small, well balance parties are they way to go , not 9 man parties.

Yes at higher levels , pvp becomes more important. Yes when your in a big clan/ally pvp is frequent. My clan is small, we always play together, we only pvp friggin annoying bots and people who stupidly flag us.

The Hp loss due to CON is what??? I shot from a nuker ???? Whoopdydoo.... Like thats gonna save me... In a Seige, of course Im gonna get taken down fast. But my extra CON isnt going to make a difference.

I was, 16 2-way clan wars, PvP at last once a day. Go -8con if ya want, dont cry for ur %.

Last time my prophet died was when she was level 56 when I DEleveled intentionally at town guards because I needed the SP and my 3 friend's toons I always level with were a few levels behind me. We are not talking about mass pvp here. We are talking about pve and occasinoal pvp. Seiges are completly different. I figure someone targets me, no matter what I do, Im dead anyways. A bit more hp wont save me.

Yes your 100% right, it does entirerly depend on your play style.
If you think the fact you can survive 1 extra shot from a nuker is gonna make a differnce, then thats your opinion. Its your play style. The only thing my prophet is gonna do at seiges is stand by flags and buff people. I borrow a BW robe set + homu from my Bish and there I go. If the flags get attacked, Im dead either way. Again 700 hp isnt gonna save me.
So, another question, how do you know what SA can go on dual weapons? Does it have to do with what SA they can get as single weapons? If so than the Dual Keshanberk can get Focus, which gives it faster attack speed, as well as when I get it to +4 it gets even MORE attack speed (about +4%). Plus they have more damage than the SlS+Tsu.

Right?

EDIT: Whoop, didn't see that post about Critical.
Duals just get a random SA when they hit +4, they say which one in their description. It has nothing to do with the single weapons.
No, i dont want him to regret his class in the future. If ya want to max. PvE damage in a 3ppl party, play a BD. Fury+Warrior+Fire and later Vampire r enough, depening on the classes. Im sure he dont want to take 70-75 a whole cronicle, for good exp ull need more ppl for higher mobs. More ppl = more MP, higher mobs = from time to time assist the healer = more MP, higher lvl = higher posibility for PvP, higher lvl = higher posibility for high lvl raids. His +str +dex -con and heavy armor and non-magical (aka mana up/acumen) SA wont work for ever, and if ya notice then that the best u can do is buff and heal/root and u cant do damage anymore, ull maybe dont want the class anymore, thats 70+ wasted lvls.

If the ppl just want to be battle prophets, u get problems with the endgame content. A assiting wizard stays a assiting wizard, dont forget a regret that. There r enough other classes that benefit parties with buffs and can do damage in the end.
No. Duals get only 1 SA and that SA does one specific thing. Sls*Tsu change the stat labeled Critical. Kesh*Kesh give an 8% increase to the stat labeled Atk. Speed. If you look in the Items & Equipment (http://www.lineage2.com/Knowledge/item.html) part of the Library on this site you can look at the weapons and their potential SA.
Okay.

So A Grade Equipment should be-

Tallum Plate because of the Attack Speed and +2 Strength.
Samurai Long Sword * Tsuragi because of Focus.

Thanks for the help!

You can see what weapons have what SA in the Library Section of the Web Site, or in the weapons description for duals.
Duals automatically get their SA when you enchant them at +4 r more ( C grade and up). AS far as I know it has absolutly nothing to do with the SA form the swords they are made of.

The attack speed bonus of the dual Kesh IS the Special ability. You cannot add another one on top of that. It basically comes down to this:
Dual Kesh are low A weapons while Tsu*sls are second best B grade. The different p.ackt is small. Tsu*sls makes you have MORE criticals. Since you will have the buff Death Whisper, each critical you make you will make MUCH more damage than you normally would when you crit. Thus why having more crits is better than attacking faster.

Also, consider *** vs. BSS. Keshs use ***, you attack faster and you do LESS damage over time. Kesh use 1 *** per two swings. Tsu*sls use 1 BSS per two swings, and you do more damage for the amout of SS your using. Now you might still be tempted to get the dual Kesh even though they would give you less damage over time just because the Kesh give you the impressoin your killing faster. Keep this in mind:
*** cost more than DOUBLE the price of BSS. I think that might convince you that the tsu*sls are better.

Other weapons you have to get certian lvl crytstals to pt the SA on the weapon.

Okay.

So A Grade Equipment should be-

Tallum Plate because of the Attack Speed and +2 Strength.
Samurai Long Sword * Tsuragi because of Focus.

Thanks for the help!

Youve got it now!
Yep thats right ^_^

The dagger with focus is another viable option but youd need to get that +dex tatoo and youd consume *** and use even more *** than the Kesh would >< awfull waste of money for me. Stick with the Tsu*sls

Well I will tell you how things work for me.
My group: Prophet, SE, BD and BH. We can clear 2 full rooms of cats/necs before the mobs have time to repsawn. We can do Rifts with only us 4 (and its really profitable).

Well, i thought u need at last 5 ppl to enter the rift :p
Anyways, normaly im more the main Healer in the rift party since the nuker(s) need the SE MP and the Bish doesnt got enough MP, im healing all my MP when the bish is sitting while the tank is UD (tank aka destro in our parties). But thats just for the RiftBoss. The normal rooms r cleared normaly with VR+vampire.

I borrow a BW robe set + homu from my Bish and there I go.

Not everyone got another mage with that :) Agrade heavy is expensive, BW robes r expensive (on Sieg just the Tunic is 30+m...)

At last i think u got my point, that makes me happy ;)
Everyone should play as he/she wants, but as i said above, dont regret it. Playsytle > all
Oh! So if I get the SlS*Tsu I dont need to get the +4 Dex -4 Con Tatoo? If so that would be great! A little more Constitution. :)

Nope, almost all of the time we are a 4 toon group and we can enter rift.

You people are crazy >< 30+ mil for BW robes.
Crazy I tell you!!!
On Hind Ive seen em recently for 15-16 mil.

Yeah, Im not to mass pvp oriented. I enjoy the occasional "kill the stupid person who flagged me" or "kill the stupid NG red harassing newbs in starter towns that mistook me for a new toon" But mass pvp is not my thing. Thats why my toon is not built for mass pvp. But yeah, I understand your point of view. If your in a big clan/ally pvp is frequent.

But me and my 3 friends must be doing something right if 3 "support classes" and 1 dorf can do rift without other people (RB excluded).

Correct, you dont need it if you take duals or two handed sword.

Im in my ealry 60's and still not having any accuracy problems. I only start missing like crazy when I hit light reb mobs.

Same here, I only have a problem with the accu when I'm going up against light red mobs as well. I currently use a dagger & shield & I love it, it works out really good & the difference of that shield defense can save your life. :D
I currently got rid of my +4 dex -4con tattoo over the weekend & it made a huge difference, I had more HP & was able to carry more.

Crafted my two for 7mil or so. ^_^v Dev forevah!

As for daggers - since hunting green mobs is a good bet anyway, I really love using them on mystic classes. The only problem is that if you find a good area you might have that one high evasion mob in it that's a pain to kill, but it's often possible to mostly avoid them.
