:( A D grade weapon, patk of 85 (+10.....uh...) for 125 million on Erica.

Is it just me that wants to laugh hysterically? Give me a break you greedy so and so's!
LMAO ummmm yeah thats just dumb. Anyone that buys that please send me a screenshot so I can hang it on my wall as a reminder of what not to do.
hahaha, hey that weapon is good into c grade and just think of much pwnage for the festivals. lol....hey I have an extra two billion on an alt toon, I should just pick that up. Just kidding, just kidding prices are just way out of hand.
check this... +3 brigadine helmet.... 45 mils...
how much it cost to buy the recipe, gather the mats and pay the fee to craft them?
then if u do raids 25+, ur chances of getting EAD scrolls are petty high, i got scrolls just collecting dust in the WH...

i dont know how this crazyness is going to be fixed, but its out of control..

and the drops sucks right now, not even the RBs are droping valuable gear..

l8r
Well theres always optimistic people setting sell shops. Well it would most likely make his month if someone was stupid enough to buy it :D
I am so glad I got my main char's gear at the end of Chron 2 and begining of 3. What scares me is that she is almost S grade...and then what am I going to do? I can't even afford to equip alts...lol.
The only answer I can think of is this.....we need to get a steady group together that can hunt raid bosses. The group has to have enough common sense to not attack if their level is too high. Then everyone has to trust each other enough to listen to one person's game plan of attack and sharing of item drops.
Who can organize us? Who can bring the small clans together?
Raid bosses when you have financial trouble? NO

Raid bosses don't drop adena. OK, theory lesson:

Assume you want adena. Mobs drop it, the more you kill the more you get, right? Also, if you spoil a mob then the value of what you get per mob goes up, right? But, the sooner you level the sooner you need new gear, right?

Therefore: hunt green mobs with a bounty hunter. Try to maximize your Adena Per Mob rather than your Experience per Mob. That is the trap people fall into, trying to level quickly and maximize experience. If you do that, you almost guarantee that you will have money problems and the money problems are really your fault, tho most people will blame the game since they think that they are perfect. Perfect like me! ;)
The game has serious issues regarding outleveling your current gear and not having enough adena by then to change grade.
The only solution then is... delevel .
It is totally annoying that you have to maximize this and that and minimize this and that.. stressfull. Some people find playing the market fun i find it boring as hell...
I wish they'd do something about this and not make it a problem outleveling your gear...

*will code for adena sign*
not try'n to get adena from Raid Bosses...just going for some of the better gear. Full item drops are best from Raids, and those make money. Specially if the group works well together.

Rum, you are so RIGHT. I am glad someone finally posts some logic on this board.

People, if prices are high, it benefits you too. If you see a brig helm for 50 million, then go craft one and sell it. You make tons of money too. I cant believe people are complainning about this. I have never had more money on this sever since I started in OB. There are to grinds in this game, money or level. You cant have your cake and eat it too.
I started a DA recently, going on raids leveled her fast and kept her in the best gear with money to spare. If you want to succeed at anything you have to put a little thought into what you are doing.
It is of my opinion that the main reason people express dissastifaction in the game is because they want a mindless game that they can just sit in front of and be ruler of everything. L2 is not that, thank god. Otherwise it would be completely boring. I love the fact that I have to try and out smart. Best investment you can make in this game is [censored].com
research, make notes, experiment and become and do well. Enjoy :D
"the only solution is delevel"

Please allow me to disagree. Might not another solution be to continue to use your lower level gear until you can upgrade it? I believe that there is NO reason that you need C gear the moment you hit 40, and so forth.

It used to be the standard (in C3 before mobs dropped A gear parts) to skip A grade and go from B to S in B. I know some who skipped B, using C all the way to A and saving quite a bit of money doing so.

Back in the 'old' days (C1 & C2) having a full set of matching gear was a real luxury and lots of folks were in ng until the late 20's. Back then there was 20% (at least) less exp per mob and levelling took much longer, instead of D grade in 3 days most took a month or more to hit 20. Also, before the Seven Signs there were no catas and necros with fast exp, just the griefer filled CT where a long evening of hunting and being PKed could yield you a net loss.

I find it amusing that people whine about how hard it is when it is NOT hard, its easy! That is why I really respect the old timers (whatever side they are on) who Honestly Levelled themselves all the way from the very beginning.

Of course, those who cheated at all get NO respect, any breaking of the EULA taints everything you do from then on.
ahhh, the good 'ol days. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Rum ;-)
Join a clan. :D
Umm, true, the devil is not all black, and by the early 50s or so you should be in full C (not best but C at least..) if you play your cards right (no cheating).... SO by 61 you should be able to have somthing B crafted...
But as LordChaos said, joining a clan and making it a joint effort is much more satisfactory and consistently easier.
And no, i wasn't really complaining, and no i don't want to have everything on a silver platter... never said that, not even implied. ;)

P.S. I must admit the game is much less drastic then... dunno a game in which i heard you can loose all items on you if you fall in a lava stream... Now THAT is drastic. So i guess L2 is pretty friendly in the "punishment" department, there's always some developers more sadistic :).
All I can say is leave Dion now before you lose all hope. Do not think for a minute that you'll find anything of value in that town...if you do, it's a BONUS. Does that suck? Sure, because people selling in Giran want to sell A/B/some C, not D...but it's a viable option. Usually when you DO find D grade there (ok, it's not common), it's reasonably priced; unless it's Keshyed, hstedsister, lastonw, Adowningsky, *anyone* on team honda or whoever. Put those toons on your permanent ignore list.

What REALLY gets me I price an item at a reasonable price and then the Honda people buy it and Price twice as much and resell =(( grrr
