I recently joined a clan with my WC, im grinding alot nowadays (like 14h a day) before my studies starts again, so im leveling fast
Im 56 atm, still in C grade because i cant decide what gear to go for. (its not a cash problem, thank you various events and manor)
My 2 leveling partners is a paladin and a bishop, both around my level and in my clan, and we usually get 1-2 DDs for our parties.
We are "lowbies" in a big clan war vs one of the stronger alliances on the server, so thats really where my gear deciding problem comes in.
Ive been thinking of tons of various setups, avadon robes, aoba+health/doomshield, bw light, focus dama, focus duals etc.
Im by far not a pro at pvp with warcryer, and that doesnt really help me decide either.
Ive noticed that my drain is very strong in pvp though, and i also have a stun skill which i was thinking of taking advantage off, but i also need to keep in mind that i need to do some damage in pve, as the bishop does hardly any at all (the paladin is fully offensive geared though, GS, BW and +4 str/dex so he does quite nice damage)
How good is the stuns WC gets in pvp ? do they land often, or not very much at all ? is it largely dependant on the enemys level ? (most our pvp is the 3 of us vs A grade 60-65ish players, occationally a certain 78 archer with full S)
Should i just ignore the fact that i can stun and get a acu weapon, ie SoV (this wouldnt be much dmg in pve) or should i get aoba to stun ppl ?
Should i just ignore it all and give them the carebear stare when we meet people, and go for a full pve melee dmg setup ?
I quite enjoy pvp, its a well welcomed break from the grinding, wether or not we die, so im not really against going for a heavy pvp setup tbh
I cant afford BOTH pvp and pve setup though, but i am able to afford say dama/focus + doom shield + a full B set armor
Avadon robes : crazy cast speed with this armor, the +5% pdef helps a bit as well (is this +5% of just the body armor, or 5% on the total pdef before/after buffs?)
BW light: +10% cast speed roughly, but light armor so a tad less cast speed than robes base, increased mp regen from men (i heard +men has a REALLY LOW effect on mp regen) but very good pdef compared to the robes
BW Robe: good mp regen, crazy mp pool, +17% cast speed, but the -int makes my already not so good matk worse :(
Aoba : this means i can stun in pvp, health SA means i can survive longer (although this may just be delaying the inevetable hehehe)
dama/Focus : will bring me to like 200 crit, which means pretty decent melee dmg output with all the buffs i get, but i loose the ability to stun
Matk sword with acumen: crazy cast speed, especially if combined with avadon robes, also much stronger steal essences. This will cut my melee dmg in half from my current C grade equip though...which means ill be nothing more than a green prophet.
Or maybe i should wait for one of the B/A grade 1h blunts with acu for C5, although these will propably be pretty costly the first month
Ive read all the WC equipment threads here, on blah and on [censored], but none of them discusses mid game pvp, only B grade pve and high lvl pvp
